Sounds like they don't believe there is openness to change YOUR mind & they are fearful you might change theirs. Remember the old poem about the "lout" who "drew a circle & left me out"? "Love &l I had the wit to win. We drew a cicle that took him in.". 

So everyone, what does drawing that circle look like?

Sunny - on an adventure to UP Michigan - the advenyure began when I dropped my drivers license post-security on train platform (to all gates) & didn't notice till train had left. Found/retrieved/made the flight - obviously all to get in my 30 minute walk (make that a pig-sweatin' run!)
