Dear Everyone,

Thank God we had no problems here in Tien Mou,Taipei, Taiwan...
flooding has been reported in low lying areas and in Yilan where it
touched down by the coast. Here is a more official report in English...

Thanks to everyone who responded to the Sinlaku Chinese Typhoon
situation.  The winds have calmed down and everyone has headed
carefully to work. Schools and public offices are back in service
today, Monday morning, although the typhoon seems to be headed to
either China or Japan now...CNN got our email and is reporting Sinlaku
in the Asian edition of news on Monday morning after it is over.

Lots of sign boards, trees and branches are being cleaned by the city
already... we were lucky here... no problems with water, electricity,
internet, or phone services. Now for clean up...

Respectfully,
