[Dialogue] Thanks John, for today's reflection

I'm sure many of you have experienced the same roller coaster ride that I have had today.  The anger, frustration and yes, I dare say bitterness.  I walked to the Farmers Market which in Moab is a node in the new city park.  That didn't seem to help because the air was full of anxiety to the point that it almost blighted the Palisades peaches.  I came home and went back to my computer.  As I worked, I could see a crew working about a block away.  Together they framed up a house and raised high the roof beam.  On a weed covered lot something new had arisen.  In my study, cum bedroom, one wall is what I call my "life wall"  I have a picture that was taken in Washington D.C. on August 29, 1963.  Above it is a pen and ink drawing of an osprey returning to its nest with a fish in its beak.  The nest is built on an abandoned log piling in the Ponderey River. The osprey, nest and pilings were the symbol of the Cusick Human Development Project.  And
then John's reflection "Out of Death comes life".  The incredible picture that is with that quote is now my background on my p.c.  I give thanks for all of the reminders that the future is open and the present is good.
Good night or good morning as the case might be.
