Thank you. Collaboration is important to acknowledge. We'll be sure to comment on that in the article.

Be well,
Karen

FYI
Karen, although I haven’t yet written a book, I have written chapters in three books, as have others on this list. I don’t know if these would be appropriate for your column or not.

For example, several of us wrote chapters for Troxel ’s Participation Works and Government Works. Several chapters in the IAF Handbook, edited by Sand Schuman, were written by ICA colleagues. I also wrote a chapter in Marvin Weisbord’s book, Discovering Common Ground. My chapter is about the ICA planning methods and Maliwada Village Development.

Dear ICA Colleagues:
ICA-USA will begin to publish a quarterly newsletter. One of the feature articles for the first issue will be a list of books that have been written by ICA colleagues. With the help of Janice Ulangca and Karen Snyder, we’ve been able to collect more than 20 titles.
I would like your help, too. Did you write a book? Do you know of any other authors in the ICA colleague ranks? I’m excited about sharing this information with all of the ICA constituents in a newsletter. I believe that providing this list is way to show that EI/ICA developed a culture and tradition of life-long learning and ongoing awareness and involvement in social issues.
Thank you,
Karen Sims, Director of Resource Development and External Affairs
