Jim:

Thank you for all the additions. I have been out of the office for a few family-filled days. Colleagues have been remarkable in their response to this request.

Thank you.
Karen

Outback Odyssey, by Miriam Shinn. It is one of the books I sent pictures of early in the week.

One of the earliest books I am aware of, Hey, White Girl, by Susan Gregory was printed in hardcover, then also in paperback (1970)

Shirley Heckman wrote Covenant People and On the Wings of a Butterfly A Guide to Total Christian Education

River of Consciousness by Patricia Webb and David McCleskey (with collaboration)

Good, Good Medicine -- What You Take is Up to You is one of a number of Swamp Gravy books

Has anyone already mentioned The Adventure of Being Human by Basil Sharp?

The Book of Myself A Do-it-Yourself Autobiography in 201 Questions David Marshall

The Rocks Sang Om Poems giving voice to pebbles and pilgrims by F. Nelson Stover

The 9 Disciplines of a Facilitator: Leading Groups by Transforming Yourself Jon and Maureen Jenkins recasts the 9 dimensions of the New Religious Mode work as inner disciplines for facilitating groups.

The International Facilitators Companion, also Jon and Maureen is published both in paper and CD editions.

Getting Things Done A Guide to Facilitative Problem Solving. Kathleen Harnish-Doucet, Priscilla Wilson, Joel Wright

Engineering Response to Global Climate Change. Planning a Research and Development Agenda. Edited by Robert G. Watts

Ester Derby, who is part of the ToP network, co-wrote Agile Retrospectives also.

Didn't someone write a book called Religious House Decor, an archeological perspective?

Did anyone mention Mimi Shinn's book on their work in Australia with the Aboriginals?

In addition to Pat Stewart's children's book, I'm remembering one that I believe Jo Nelson did for children in Australia out of the Murrin Bridge project. I think of Nan Grow's book on animals in her life and Judy Lindblad's children's story of the saguaro cactus. I also thought of Michael May's Iron Man stories and also Jay Zahrt's Iron Man stories. This is a remarkable list that is growing.

Then we go to films: Marshall Jones and Cathy Hamm. Lyn True. Who else? Lynda

Dear ICA Colleagues:
ICA-USA will begin to publish a quarterly newsletter. One of the feature articles for the first issue will be a list of books that have been written by ICA colleagues. With the help of Janice Ulangca and Karen Snyder, we've been able to collect more than 20 titles.
I would like your help, too. Did you write a book? Do you know of any other authors in the ICA colleague ranks? I'm excited about sharing this information with all of the ICA constituents in a newsletter. I believe that providing this list is way to show that EI/ICA developed a culture and tradition of life-long learning and ongoing awareness and involvement in social issues.
Thank you,
Karen Sims, Director of Resource Development and External Affairs
