Dear colleagues and friends:

This email is to express the deep and overwhelming gratitude that sweep over myself and our family in the dozens and dozens of condolences that came to us by your visits, telephone calls, notes and emails following Anne's dying. Words expressed the depth of your responses, as well as radiated your heart's response which carries beyond verbal expression. Thank you, thank you.

Each of you in your own way expressed what Anne meant to you and our work.how she was of help both individually and corporately in our everyday life. For some she was a symbol of leadership in the feminine dimension as well as our mission; for others she carried selfhood in all dimensions of living with other people, seeing the depth of their struggles and opening herself to their journey. Each of you gave your own perspective. You condolences not only were a great tribute, but a wonderful picture to her family of how we can carry her legacy in response to the needs of today's world.

Although the causative level of your condolences is love, compassion and kindness, each of you made your response in various ways. Again, thank you, thank you.

For those of you who made no external response, I want to in all sincerity thank you for your response upon hearing of her dying. Remembrance has its own mysterious vehicle and love makes no distinction in how it is transmitted. So again, thank you, thank you.

We send this in the One Love that holds us all, yet is present in whatever we be and do. Joe Slicker and Family
