This is the sad case of a couple of Christians with ulterior motives
setting up confrontation under the guise of free speech and honest
inquiry. Disingenuous is the word, I believe.
Qureshi and Wood are fundamentalists, out to prove that Christianity
is the only way to salvation, caught up in the fervor of "ministering"
to Muslims with an "apology" (in the technical use of the word) for
Christianity: justifying the claims of fundamentalist Christianity.
Stuck in the mind and ignoring the witness of Jesus' life is the
reality, I believe.

Two comments:
I was saddened a couple of years ago when I heard new of complaints
about the Muslim call to prayer in Dearborn (I believe. Detroit area
in any case). My experience in India, Egypt, and Bosnia was of being
moved by the devotion and discipline of Muslims in their daily routine
of prayer. Rather than being offended, I was brought to greater
awareness of my own relationship with God. We are praying to the same
God after all.
I wish I could comment from more knowledge, but this feels like a
failure of tolerant Christian leadership in the area to send
alternative messages to the Christians and the failure of tolerant
Muslim leadership in the area to partner with Christian allies who
support cooperation and mutual respect so that these were not just
Muslims behind the table at the festival. They needed a couple of
Episcopalians in the booth with them.
