Recently there was a call for books written by our colleagues. When I heard
about John Baggett¹s book, ³Seeing Through the Eyes of Jesus², I bought it.
I always thought of John a mentor. He was instrumental in setting me on this
path when he was in the Woodlawn UMC on Chicago¹s South Side.

I saved it for our canoe trip. If you¹re into reading a very long, really
good RS-1 Christ lecture, you¹ll like this book. It¹s scholarly and readable
at the same time. Just what you¹d expect from him.
