Thank you all for your help.  I know that many of you contacted your congress people and that some of you support conservation organizations.  All together it is a testimony of what one person, or a small group of people etc can do when working together.  It is more than a case of saving the land, is saving the water.  Potable water is scarce and getting scarcer.  Today one of our springs was closed because of contamination.  drilling in shale for natural gas and oil use very large amounts of water and leaves hazardous materials in the runoff.  So again thank you.  One more victory for small, blue planet.
