[Dialogue] Christmas and New Year's Greetings

George and Elise,
Rod and I saw Slumdog Millionaire this afternoon. Fascinating picture  
of the slums, violence, and faith & persistance.
Enjoyed it...even though hard to watch. Thanks for recommending it. I  
had just watched one of Nicholas Kristoff's videos (NY Times) on the  
slums and people who make their living there...in Cambodia. His main  
point was that sweat shops are a step up for many people on the  
planet...and we shouldn't yell against them.

What a historic week we are entering...hard to imagine looking back  
on this week 2-300 years from now.
