Dear Colleagues,
    Thank you again to the many above who sent good wishes for healing at 
the time of my spinal surgery.   Since my neurosurgeon removed those five 
bone spurs May 11th, I am feeling better every week and am now virtually 
pain-free.   
    I want to update you on what I also mentioned in my previous post-op 
note to the Dialogue:   The three-week Sunrise House D&A rehab program, that 
our son Dan returned from June 6th, was even richer than the one his twin was 
in at the same north Jersey location several years ago.   Like David, he 
came back focused in a most serene and practical way, ready to deal openly and 
directly with the complex work and family issues that had tied him up in 
knots.  Amazing grace indeed.   Please join us in continuing to send both our 
sons and their families healing energy. 
    I would also like to invite those of you who have not already done so, 
to visit my website (below).   I welcome anyone who would like to help this 
theoretician (me!) get off the dime and get the word out on how simple it is 
to accelerate the learning-to-read process, the basics of which the basal 
readers missed many long years ago, complicating things ever since.   My 
website will also introduce you to creative community-focused individuals who 
have forged other exciting roads to literacy through the 20th century.
    Finally, I rejoice in Terry Bergdall's appointment as interim Associate 
Executive Director--and trust that that appointment will go way beyond the 
2009 interim.
