[Dialogue] ToP Methods

As far as I know, the 'rational objective' and 'existential aim' were at the core of the RS/CS curriculum of the CF&LC. Check out the Pedagogy Manual for RS-1. Also key to the spiral curriculum we created for the EG and to the Imaginal Education course.
Perhaps the 'why' is obvious for pedagogy: getting clarity about the 'life address' that's implicit in the rational construct as well as present in the experiential 'process' of a workshop or seminar.

Wasn't that something that started with Town Meeting

Here’s a memory
question – maybe something you heard.

When, how and why did we introduce
the ideas of using Rational and Existential aims when we prepare for a
facilitated event or a training event?

Does anyone know that history? I’m
curious.
