A film we use in the Top Facilitation Methods Course (TFM) is Creativity,
narrated by Dewitt Jones, a national geographic photographer. You may know
his work. Its only downside is it includes photos used for a Scotch
commercial, (its promoting creativity via the photographer, not alcohol, but
it also quotes the bible, so its balanced (smile). Twenty two minutes. The
images are incredible, the message on creativity is right on, not fluffy.
You can get it via rental on StarThrower.com in Minneapolis. MnToP has it as
well.

Karen,
I was thinking the same thing. Recently we watched that in our family
meeting.

One that was we used for a film series at the Center for Creative Retirement

is Akira Kurosawa's Dreams. It is comprised of eight episodes rich in
imagery and insight, it explores the cost of war, the perils of nuclear
power and humankind's need to harmonize with nature. Each episode is an art

form about 20 minutes in length.

I'm not sure where you can get a copy but I think Netflix would have it and
you might Google it to see if it is available on the web.

Our church is going to have a series of art form conversations for adult
educations groups. One reason for this series is to demonstrate and learn
the art form conversation (ORID?) methodology. We are using a motion
picture, a photograph, an "art quilt, " and music. All the art forms have
been chosen except the film.

Anyone have a short (about 20 minute) film to suggest? Please suggest how it

can be accessed.

Thanks for your input.
