[Dialogue] The Nobel Peace Prize

An insightful comment made around the edges at the Oklahoma City University meeting this week--one reason, perhaps the primary one, that Obama's approval ratings in this country have fallen since the inauguration is, many in the US are still looking for the strong, take charge leader.  Obama's leadership approach is to build consensus.  This grates on the right and those on the far left of his own party.  The Nobel confirms that the world approves of this new approach from an American president.

Thanks Mary

That's a very thoughtful and welcome word. After
the last 8 years, it's a real relief to have
someone in office who represents the best of what
the nation stands for. Of course he still needs
lots of support to bring it off.

I hope you received and will pass along the note
I sent to Cyprian about the December event in
Washington. Will you be coming? It sounds like a fine event.

We're in Malaysia now, but will be headed back to
Denver in November.  How're you and the family doing? Let us hear from you.

John
