I had an interesting hour or two reading the portion of the US Constitution that has to do with commerce. Oh yeah, I started with the preamble. On of the powers of our Congress is to regulate commerce. There in lies the genius of our constitution. It is wide open for interpretation. And that is why we have three branches of government. Every once in a while, things get a little out of hand, and "we the people" rise up and say "That is not who we are as a people". In the mean time we can differ all we want to. And most of us would fight to our death the "others" right to disagree. It is in this kind of discourse that we the people muddle along and change things as the times and circumstances require.
Oh, by the way, Our current President inherited the huge deficit from the out going President. Along with a war and a crashed economy. And for those three we are all culpable.
Peace
