In response to George Holcomb’s question - Is there an Archiving
Activity scheduled for the Fall like the one last Spring?

My answer is Yes.

We had a great discussion here yesterday.  So, I’m sending this before
any detailed ICA publicity comes out.
October will be another ARCHIVE SOJOURN month.

Now I have three requests:
1)  We are inviting everyone of you to look at your calendar, pick
your time and plan to come for a week (or more or less) to work with
the Global Archives in Chicago.  Let us know as soon as you decide
when.  We have not yet picked the focus or focuses for each week.
2)  And we request those who came in May to send out a word so
everyone can hear from you what was important about the May Sojourn
and your experience with the Archives. Please respond with an email
soon!
3)  And we would like lots of suggestions about where we should focus
in October.  Everyone who reads this, please reply.  Your opinions are
important whether or not you can take a week off to come to Chicago,

So – We expect to be seeing a lot of replies from this email.
