In today's New York Times there is an interesting article about a Supreme Court Ruling by Adam Liptak. It is at http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/22/us/politics/22scotus.html?th=&emc=th&pagewanted=all
It is entitled "Court Affirms Ban on Aiding Groups Tied to Terror" and includes conversations with, acts such as feeding or teaching non-violence to groups or members thereof deemed terrorists. I wonder what effect that will have on all the groups and organizations (churches, N.G.O.s) that seek to engage with groups or people deemed terrorists. Would this put Greg Mortenson's work (Three Cups of Tea) under the gun. Reading the comments following the article raises even more questions as to where this nation is headed. Any clues?
