All I remember is the image of standing of a crack in the ground with one foot on the establishment side and the other foot on the disestablishment side. As the chasm opened up and your feet got further apart, the transestablihment was represented by the inseam of your pants. I question was how to keep is from unraveling. Or at least that is how I remember Joe Mathews telling it. He was more more dramatic about such things than I am.

Does anyone have an article or talk they can send me explaining the transestablishment? There were 3 dynamics that make up the "establishement" -- pro - dis - trans . . . it became the basis for the "turn symbol -- the ica logo of the circle with the wedge over it . . . I think Gene Marshall did the first talk on it during the summer of 1971, and I have run across it since somewhere . . . it may be in the Courage to Lead, but I don't have a copy . . .

Going on a trip Wednesday am early and could sure use something in print.

Some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity. Gilda Radner
