I have just read the book "A Better Way of Dying" by two sisters with the  
last name Fitzgerald.  They encourage us to add to our Living Will, etc.,  
their page (see the website) to ask to be allowed to die of natural causes 
(not  medicated instead) when the proper time comes.  That is, when we have  
decided that it is time, not the emergency response team.  Please visit the  
site for a synopsis of the book and the form to add to you Living Will  
forms.  This is not only for us old folks, but we all should confront this  
decision.
