Dear Colleagues:
October 10-November 12 Archives Sojourn Month. We hope you plan to
participate this time. Seems like a long time to have things going on
relative to the Archives. Some people are saying they can't come for
all of a week, or can get better prices on air fare if they fly
certain days which include a weekend, or want to spend only 3 nights,
etc. We are needing to get as much information as we can so we can
please everyone, keep everyone busy, accomplish as much as possible
and celebrate.
We are getting ideas to focus on during the Sojourn time but really
still need your input of priorities you want to be included, whether
or not you can come. Imagine lots and lots of file cabinets with lots
and lots of categories. Please send ideas to Marge Philbrook at
msphilbrook at gmail.com. Should we send you a list of what we currently
consider possibilities?
If you can come, register at the ICA webpage (www.ica-usa.org) the
dates you plan to be here. Housing is $30 per night and food is $10
per day. Commuters also need to register. Or, if you can’t come you
may be able to make a small contribution for a colleague who might not
be able to come otherwise.
Among those already planning to come are George and Wanda Holcombe,
Charles and Doris Hahn, Claire Whitney, Wendell and Shirley St. John,
Marshall Jones, Russell Wheelock, and David and Margaret Scott.
We really want to hear from you about when and if you can come. If
you can't come we would like to know that you would like to but can't
for whatever reason.
Rosemary Albright, Marge Philbrook, and Sally Fenton
