The Transitions Communities movement began in Great Britain, led by Michael Brownlee and Lynette Marie Hanthorn who will lead this seminar along with Genesis Farm (www.genesisfarm.org ) director Miriam MacGillis, OP. Karen Snyder and Pam Bergall are working with transitions communities in the Chicago area.
ICA-USA is collaborating on many fronts with Transitions in the US. Besides the work here in Chicago, I have had serious conversations with the Transitions national office about possible use of ICA's ToP methods to support local Transition initiatives. While this is a work in progress, conversations with ToP Network leadership in the US have also revealed great interest in making this happen. There is a lot of potential here. I am eager to hear back from Ellie and Carleton on their upcoming experience. Terry
