And all of this reminded me that I'd love to hear updates on Pam's work to
"greenify" the Kemper building. Will that be included in some newsletter
somewhere? It's such an awesome experiment in possibility for the urban
context.

"You don't have to take God to anyone.  God is already with everyone.  So,
rather than taking the approach that you need to take the truth out to
people who need it, adopt the approach that you need to go find the truth
that others have and you are missing.  Go be evangelized."    from

resiliant communities in light of peak oil, global warming, and financial

Michael Brownlee and Lynette Marie Hanthorn who will lead this seminar along
with Genesis Farm (www.genesisfarm.org ) director Miriam MacGillis, OP.
Karen Snyder and Pam Bergall are working with transitions communities in the
Chicago area.

ICA-USA is collaborating on many fronts with Transitions in the US. Besides
the work here in Chicago, I have had serious conversations with the
Transitions national office about possible use of ICA's ToP methods to
support local Transition initiatives. While this is a work in progress,
conversations with ToP Network leadership in the US have also revealed great
interest in making this happen. There is a lot of potential here. I am eager
to hear back from Ellie and Carleton on their upcoming experience. Terry
