G'day Terry

Thanks to you, Jim Troxel and others involved in preparing this video. "It would be good" if a transcript could be made, identifying the speakers, and listing those present. A lot of us have changed in appearance over the years. Did I see Richard and Maria Maguire on the left? And Isobel Bishop and Kevin Balm to the right?

I've made a poster for my wall" "Still keeping despair at a distance?" I like that sayingb - it recognises that The Dark Night is always around.

Best wishes

Frank Bremner

Subject: [Dialogue] Video of Fred's Memorial Service

The Memorial Service for Fred Buss occurred a week ago today. Several people urged us to prepare a video and make it available, Sarah, Fred's former wife, even wrote me with the suggestion that I should then sell DVDs at a marked-up price because she thought it would be in the spirit of Fred's own outrageous fundraising efforts (e.g., as reported on this listserv, he once asked people to take out second mortgages on their homes to support ICA's work in El Bayad).

In any event, we have posted a video, prepared by Jim Troxel, for those who would like to see it. The link below will provide you with easy access. If you who haven't visited our website recently, please look around while you are there. And if anyone should like to follow-up on Sarah's suggestion, you'll find a donate button on the home page (smile!). Whatever, we hope this visual offering will be one last fitting celebration of Fred's completed life.
