Janice and Evelyn and all,
I was just able to read the attachment you sent Jan 7 on the Otto Scharmer
interview. It seems to be quite relevant and useful for our time and
transcend the usual establishment -disestablishment Yak that fills the
airways. I haven't had time to look more deeply as others may have, but
thank you for sharing this. We have a new initiative starting here in Santa
Fe catalyzed by a veteran of Foundation for Global Community AKA Beyond
War.The thesis of this initiative is that small groups need to start
building the new narrative of civilization in ways that the artists in
Russia did, capturing and memorizing the poetry and reformation themes being
censored, a decade before the wall came down. the books "Biology of Belief"
and R. Reich's, "The New Economy", and Barnes, "Democracy at the Crossroads"
are on the first list of the 6 week series launching the effort. A few of us
are on tiptoe with anticipation.

Fascinating stuff here. The Scharmer interview (attached), with his
capacity-building take on the global, the personal, prototyping, and
cross-sector networking. I see congruence with the Nonviolent Communication
principles I'm working with locally with a group. Following a link there I
found the Centered magazine interview with Jorie Wu called The Art of
Dialogue. Jorie is an impressive lady - maybe an important ally of ICA
Taiwan. The whole effort to Imagine Taiwan is exciting. There is so much to
be shared these days - and not yet ICA structures to do it except hit and
miss. Lots of other good folks/organizations seem to be sharing like mad. I
don't think we want to be out of the loop(s). Thanks, Evelyn!!
Here's also a link to extensive great points about dialogue, from the
Centered magazine (Yen Foundation magazine).
