Steve,
The Jenkins book was just a republication of the OW charts. Their other book is on the NRM that they wrote as the 9 Disciplines of Facilitation.
The LENS seminar that you describe is pretty much the "old" one we used to do. That was stopped and for one year we reworked it, much of this by Rick Loudermilk, but also Gary Tomlinson and some others. I played a minor role in that work. It was "relaunched" as the Leadership Effectiveness and New Spirit and it didn't have all the SP lectures and OW stuff nor the conversations. We did keep the Ronin reading.
The OW has been worked on by several persons since their original creation. Most recently David McCleskey and Pat Webb created a work book for each of the states of being and they are very good. I have used their work as well as some of my own regarding people's experience of Mystery, Consciousness, Care and Tranquillity.
Hanson's work using the four metaphors is an interesting application for the product development cycle, but it is not the OW. States of Being are quite different. I remember JWM cautioning us not to see the OW as in any way sequential. Now I do have some charts he did that show some fascinating relationships between the four states (more interior, more exterior etc.) that I can share with you. I found them in JWM's files years ago and I've been very curious that they never made it into our general knowledge memory.
Peace,
Jack
