"In the light of the above context, I would offer what I feel are the nine critical contradictions facing humanity today. I have identified three for each of the three areas of the common vision."
Well-written, Jack.

Janice,
I don't know if you saw this work, but a couple years ago at the Junaluska Springboard meeting we did some work on this. I then did my own gestalt and wrote up a set of nine contradictions, based on the SP triangles. They're not trends, but clearly they have trends implied. Perhaps it's a start, or at least so data to consider.

Part of this process is sensing what is happening at this time in history. I encountered the movement just after the phenomenal summer when reports from colleagues' reading 1000 books were fed into what became the social process triangles. It almost seems as if something with that kind of breadth is needed now.

Might some of our tehnologically savvy colleagues be able to access this? And if so, what key words would we as the ICA want them to research as we look at how we can use our resources to the best advantage? This could be in addition to what our colleagues already know about.
