of human experience

Some current philosophers would call the 1st a
World-to-Word fit more like ontology* and
the 2nd a Word-to-World fit more like epistemology
[Not “Ontot-heology” as the philosopher Hilary Putnam calls it – the
version dealing with the existence of God]
