Still thinking about the previous Randy & Gene et al exchange
and stick chart models and all
and wishing for more...

---

Randy seems to have life experience looking for event->story->mythology which
might be describable in new religious mode lingo something like

Being is->an account of Doing->which generates an expression of
knowing [mythology]

---

Gene seems to have a model - the new religious mode-
like a set of distinctions in language which aim or beg for something
of human experience

---

Some current philosophers would call the 1st a
World-to-Word fit more like ontology* and
the 2nd a Word-to-World fit more like epistemology
[Not “Ontot-heology” as the philosopher Hilary Putnam calls it – the
version dealing with the existence of God]

---
a couple of more fragments for fun:
-the 3 umpires
-1st novice ump: when it comes across the plate like this "___" what
do you call it?
-2nd experienced ump: well, I just call it like I see it
-3rd master ump: Listen, It ain't nothing until I call it.

---

Quote from Master Dogen 13 C Japan from the Genjo Koan

What did the monk see that he expressed by bowing?
