So, what is the relation between "going to heaven" ?and "conquering
hope" and "hopelessness"?

Very sorry to hear about John Stringham's completed life. My clearest
memory is of him in Montreal with Evonne, Ron Clutz and Brian
Stanfield, Marguirite le Page and many others in the early 70s when
it was something and nothing to do an Odyssey and have your dead
illusions stripped from your imagination.

My answer to going to Wiegel's Q re: heaven, conquering hope and
hopelessness is all these knowings live in the distinction called
scared of living, afraid of dying. Wasn't the old rule of thumb,
stripped bare of the readers digest version was "to die is to live";
at least that's what Brian Stanfield said.

 "God changes his appearance every second. Blessed is the man who can
recognize him in all his disguises." -- Nikos Kazantzakis, Zorba the
Greek

Later in Minnesota I met a Unitarian Buddhist [?] who said: "present
moment is the name of God" at the beginning of every sermon.

God bless John Stringham and the Romani People.
