But who was the 'Wilkerson' who lived in the Caño Negro HDP (in 1977) and had the best way to tie up a big black garbage bag full of sheets so that no varmint, snake, or dust could enter? She had dark hair.

At that time - my memory

Karen Wilkerson - blonde, teacher, I think. Trained in music

Fredrika King - tall, long, dark hair - social worker?

Alfreda came in the early 70's.

Wasn't/isn't Wilkerson's first name Alfrieda?

That song was written in the summer '69 academy. Doug and I were there on our honeymoon. So guy stayed up all night and we sang it the next morning. Don't remember what it replaced, but it was a dirge by comparison. When someone builds a better model...
And are we confusing 2 women? I remember a Frederica Wilkerson (?)

It was under "Responsibility" in the songbook "Songs", with the document title "Songs-Songs-Songs"

Lin and I have been STANDING FOR PEACE with some others from Carson UMC [Rob & Dixie Jennings-Teats co-pastors] outside the Nevada State Legislature on Mon afternoons. I did some recruiting around town and we added 2 people from the Episcopal Church. Once we finish the stand we retire to Comma Coffee for some refreshment.

One of the 2 new people is Freddie King. She got to talking about being in Chicago in 1967-68 at the Ecumenical Institute. She was there when the riots broke out.

Does anyone remember her? She says she remembers David McClesky, Fred Buss, and David Scott.
She remembers that we sang a song to the tune We All Live In a Yellow Submarine. I've looked in the Golden Pathways songbook and don't find the song/words. Can anyone direct me to the place to find them?

David
