[Dialogue] freedom and yellow submarines

On a 100 mile one way trip to a specialist.  My son Ken David asked me how do you decided when you are between a rock and a hard place.  The words to Yellow Submarine popped into my head, "duty bound and free"  and "relativity."  His question was very serious, as he was facing two situations one right from right and one wrong from wrong.   Now I admit that a hundred miles is short time to discuss freedom and Bonhoeffer and the whole observe, judge, weigh up and act.  Both of us decided something critical in the next day or two.  
 
Back to the Yellow Submarine,  I first sang it in a fancy hotel in Park City, Utah that Skaggs of drug store fame, funded.  It was sometime before 1968 and I only remember two men named Joe where the teachers.
Back to another long ago thread. I use EI and ICA methods in one way or another nearly everyday.  While I was in ICU,  Walt Epely sent me a card with a symbol on it that was very close to the past is approved, I stand in the now with the future wide open.  I hung it on my wall. 
 
Thankyou all for your continuing remembrances and reminders that the future is wide open.
