Pricilla,
I guess it depends on what part of the manger your group wants to explore.
I just read and enjoyed Heidegger: A (Very) Critical Introduction
(Interventions) [Paperback] S. J. McGrath (Author)
McGrath is a Christian Theologian who looks at Heidegger from 4 different
seminary paradigms: Epistomology [knowing] Ontology [being in the world]
Ethics [doing in the world] and Christology [where he remains after
taking on Heidegger]
I found it interesting because it suggested 4 paradigms that might help me
understand JWM's theology better.

Also just read this article on Glen Beck's take on Liberation Theology in
the category of paranoid Christiianism.
Apparently neither the paranoia nor the fundamentalism is dead yet contra
Professor Cox.
Beck seems to want to cast out Obama and related demons because they
advocate social not personal salvation.
It is a strange mix of Any Rand puffery and a resentful and put-upon
Sweet Jesus aimed on the tea party establishment broadcast network.
Beck-Styled Liberalism

I read it because the writer seems to have found & named the dog in the
manger....
Most interesting is your assertion about the leading edge Christianity.
I'm still wondering which particular flock needs leadership... the 1%, the
99% or maybe the poorest of the poor at the "bottom of the pyramid that
didn't get theirs yet.
