[Dialogue] Nostalgia for another time?

Interesting,  as of yesterday there are 75,000 students in Stanford
University online class.

As of yesterday the class was, apparently organized into 12,500 teams
of 6 each team with its own webpage with members, emails, bios and ad
a startup project.

All of my team members are in or near San Jose Costa Rica where I live
so we can meet in person and on site or online via google+hangouts or
skype. All of my team members know how to do video conferencing.

In New York City the team-gathering principle must be something like a
zip code and in Iowa it must be a county or municipality.

Imagine 12, 500 teams around the world working in parallel on how to
innovate with recorded video clips and work assignments for
live-action projects

It seems silly even parochial and exclusivist  to have local meetings
in seminar rooms and local church basements that are not also
available on the internet.

I hope that
-ICA-USA,
-the Nepal Conference,
-ToPs training and conference events

begin finding and using examples of effective onsite AND online
communication like this well organized Stanford U class on Innovation.

Talk about local<-> global interchange...

Having solitary isolated planning events and conferences, swapping
emails and sharing text threads and on wedgblade and ICA-USA.org is
interesting but seems like nostalgia for another time don't you think?
