STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS FOR THE SEVEN REVOLUTIONS

ACTION ARENAS

ACTION CADRE FORMATION

The new direction in mobilizing Youth, Women and the Disenfranchised is to form Action Cadres. In high schools and colleges youth are to be formed into cadres to care for their communities. There is to be a Demonstration of Structural Freedom for Women in Guilds. The Global Womens Forum is to develop a capacity to support action and continued raising of consciousness after the event. Town Meetings are to be held for the Disenfranchised, e.g. refugees, handicapped persons, retarded persons, chronically unemployed and deprieved persons. To activate youth cadres it will be necessary to blend community youth forums and human development training schools. It is desirable to build these training methods into school activities or curriculum. To construct a model for freedom of women it will be necessary to form research groups to determine local directions of women in specific communities around the globe. To extend the capacities of the Global Womens Forum it will be necessary to develop follow up mechanisms and to train participants in strategies of development and evaluation. In order to facilitate town meetings for the disenfranchised it is required that~identification be made with strategic overlay and that a prophetic stance be developed to motivate participation. By moving in the direction of Action Cadre Formation we can expect the release of new trained focus of vocated people of all ages and in womens' groups that will not only be effective in community care but also a demonstration of corporate style. The necessary actions to accomplish this direction are to be found in giving power to local H.D.P. and signal communities the image of developing vocated people for engagement by awakenment and impact follow up structures, and by devising ways within the program range of the house to enable women to build economic structures that release and empower their participation in the local and world economy. This direction also calls for the training and organizing of leadership within the disenfranchised community to do awakenment and engagement.

PUBLIC SCHOOL DEMONSTRATION

This new direction is toward an experimentation in relevant education by doing a demonstration school with an experimental curriculum, utilizing movement methods and global interchange. The required actions are to select an appropriate and strategic school that is the size and location required by the education system to be a demonstration. This direction will necessitate a new gestalt and research of all existing movement curriculum, a faculty training system that must include raising up student leadership. This direction requires an evaluation, replicative and information flow that will allow the school to be an authentic demonstration. A new motivation method should be introduced to help the youth participate in the curriculum. The comprehensive approach to education should be a relevant one where the youth can participate. Gifts of the students should be highly appreciated. The information should be released

PR_FOUND EXPERIMENTATION

SEVEN REVOLUTIONS DIALOGUE

The strategic direction toward expansion of context and involvement ia the Seven Revolutions Dialogue. The four aspects of the strategic direction are: expansion of context and care of each revolution; profound awakenment of human identity and vocation; mobile research and documentation network; and framing and formation of the four sectors. The actions to implement the Seven Revolutions Dialogue are; design a one day seven revolutions symposium, conduct interviews with representatives of the four sectors on the seven revolutions and the eighties, create a mobile research and data assimmilation network, conduct a seven revolution symposium in each region with representatives from all four sectors. The dialogue will release new troops for formation, broad interchange of data and intuitions toward the eighties, a broad coalition of Those Who Care and a new profound awakenment tool. The means of actuation will be regional symposiums on the 7 revolutions and the eighties; a four sector framing appointments set up sheet, a mobile research network (a roundtable to collect and document the insights); a pilot experimentation with a new awakenment tool that will inform us on the eighties.

COMMUNITY LABS NETWORK

The strategic direction toward renewed primal community is the Community Labs Network. Community as living laboratory (in the village, the urban neighborhood, the work place or the school) will demonstrate the dynamics of primal community through its care structures. It will function as a prototype of the new society, providing the network interface for the cooperative actions of the public, private, volunteer and local sectors. The community lab's network will function as a dynamic interchange mechanism. It will be the basis of training in community methods Edge experimentation will go on in terms of the dynamics of maintaining human community or an extended time period. Consensus will need to be experimented with in new social forms, engaging all sectors of society. The compiling and disseminating of [earnings must be done through the imaginative use of a variety of media and data processing procedures. The Community Lab Network will require a regular monitoring system. It could be expected that the network will map the way for the catalyzation of renewed care systems in other communities for the actuation of delivery systems that will enhance the region's economy. To establish and maintain the community lab network will necessitate a concentrated assignment of forces. One configuration might be 2 people working with the village, not propping up and 4 doing extension. A careful continental targeting of the community must take into consideration the means of interchange of villagers between villages or neighborhoods. The target community must already have demonstrated a readiness beyond awakenment. The documentation of the journey of development of each community lab village will equip the community leadership as storytellers. trained in communication skills in each country. There is to be created an imaginal self teaching curriculum for language training. Current literacy movements such as Frank Laubach's "each one teach one" method are to be supported. There will be released the assignability of all colleagues, the sharing of profound humaness will be facilitated. This direction will be a factor in establishing global community. Self reliance and self confidence will be furthered in those who care to possess skills in communication. It is necessary to select pilot populations, in corporations, for instance, or among refugees. A task force is to be constituted to move in this direction.

SKILLS ACQUISITION

ACCESS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

The strategic direction toward releasing vocational flexibility is access skills development. For this direction, our understanding of the basic skill of "learning" is necessary, as is the development of methods to impart it and the motivation of skills acquisition. Training Inc. might be expanded and cooperation initiated with agencies working in the Third World. The direction aims to release vocational flexibility, lifelong learning potential and a new appreciation of learning, particularly in affluent Western nations. The groundwork will be laid for rapid, effective vocational teaching, while the effectiveness of all cooperating agencies will be enhanced by the understanding of complementarities in approaches. Documentation and research is needed for the first two indicators of this direction, and the ascertaining of marketable skills and staff increases for the third. Familiarity with ICA projects and identification of specific commonalities with other agencies will be assisted by a conference, visits to ICA projects and documentation that provides an overall view of the ICA for the outsider.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS DISCERNMENT

The strategic direction toward stimulating employment opportunity is Discerning Skills Requirements. Indicators of~ this direction may be found in study of subcontracting in many countries, systemmatic research on multinational subcontracting, research of small business technology, and in the expansion of LENS programming. We anticipate discovering a coherent view of appropriate employment possibilities for regional or local groups, global applicability of these possibilities, the discovery of skills required for expanding local economy and the training focus for these skills through increased perception of corporate motivity at many department levels. Some of the activities required to move in this direction might be a study of current practices in subcontracting both at the local level and that of multinational corporatians; obtaining information about small business technology in various cultural settings, will inform us further of the needs we are seeking to discern as we begin to move in this direction.

GRASSROOTS COMMUNICATION SKILLS

The strategic direction toward the self reliance of the global citizen is the develoment of grassroots communication skills. It is necessary to assure functional eptitutde on the grassroots level. It is necessary to discover in English the global language. A model campaign to develop literacy is to be estab1ished. Key populations are to be targeted. It is required to replicate the global language school. A faculty is to be so that local and other communities can be benefitted. The necessary means of actuation is investigation of schools to gather existing curriculum means that the information should be relevant. Movement methods should be adapted to the school, a research on demonstration school and write up event and keep it as a guide.

YOUTH CULTURE DRAMATIZATION

The strategic direction towards a new youth sociality is Youth Culture Dramatization. The four aspects of this strategic directions are: youth involvement in society building, creating a new global youth story, global youth exchange or interchange and youth reintegration in local community. The actions to implement youth culture dramatization are: an organized group of global youth players, a creation of songs, holding community youth forums and the formation of youth action cadres. The youth culture dramatization dialogue will release energy of youth for community improvement, talents for vocational direction, movementalized and vocational direction and a global mythology. The means of actions for youth involvement in society building will be: talent search in HDPs, do dramas and songs for HDP, obtain grants, e.g. from National Endowment for the Humanities, for creating a new global youth story. The means of actions could be: a youth songbook with songs from each HDP and frame entertainers for song release, while for global youth exchange and interchange the means of actions could be: holding of youth symposia, holding special emphasis forums, and reimaging CYF as action oriented. Lastly, youth reintegration in local community means of actions are: holding C.Y.F and recruiting from schools that have had forums.
