IX: INTRODUCTION TO GLOBAL FORMATION DESIGN

SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Global Formation Design is the movement's basic demonstration design for the movement, Its components enable the forming of a global movemental order.
DISCIPLINED CORPORATENESSHistorically, society has required humanizing structures to release man's creativity to build the earth. An example of this is the Chinese Cultural Revolution, which has built a visible model of disciplined corporateness. The Spirit Movement has created global corporate care structures with highly motivated colleagues who live out of their spirit resources and missional intentionality. These forces will band together to reform world society.
RECOVERED PLURIFORMITYThe church has always had formation schemes to involve local laity in formulating its mission. The gospel missionaries and the Salvation Army of the 19th and early 20th centuries exemplify this approach. This commitment by the church presupposes belief in different forms as means to spread the word, serve the suffering world, unite the globe, and include the various cultural gifts within the church, Today, these presuppositions must be translated into relevant forms for the future.
GLOBAL

STYLE

Movemental dynamics in history have always had global formation designs enabling the church to become the social pioneer. Monastics are historical examples of this dynamic. The Franciscans and the Jesuits became a traveling global formation of radical, corporate life style,
The presupposition for the spirit Movement's global formation design states the movement's attempt to recapture the wisdom of the church's monastic heritage. Corporate local spirit man will create the global network for the new movemental dynamic. Extended covenants will unite local spirit man within a missional context, Comprehensive common style is key to providing the necessary symbolic leadership for global expansion.
Local man cannot step out alone on the 20 year march. He will join colleagues in the formation of a global movemental order to become the new global corporate man history requires.
HISTORICAL CONTRADICTIONS

The Global Formation Design operates in the general social arena of structural reformulation. The Historical Contradictions which the Global Formation Design has as it relates to the world, church and movement, are those which block comprehensive structures being created and implemented to occasion global cohesion.
NEGATED HUMANNESSIn our contemporary world structures of society are collapsing and present attempts at reformation and correction of the ills of society are counterproductive. The imaginal dynamic used by a majority of world leaders are ones of racism and nationalism.. Governments promise reform but finally misappropriate their trust. Present social value systems negate the needs of human community.
OUTDATED CONTEXTThe situation of the church at present is one where it essentially exists for itself. The dichotomy that has arisen from this means that church men are now seeing the church primarily as avocation rather than vocation. Thus patterns of the nineteenth century rationale have lost their relevance. The church mirrors the economic, political and cultural milieu of the world society and has lost sight of its role as the conscience of society. The design impacts the church as it faces the shallowness of the covenants in which its clergy and laity enter. The contradiction is exemplified in almost every area of the church's life such as partaking of the sacraments and entering into covenants without context for the acts.
INTENSIFIED

DEMAND

The contradiction in the spirit movement is seen in the fragmentation of vision in the newly awakened spirit movement. This is indirectly reflected in the demand for training of leadership for the expanding network of centers that are planned for the global mission.

Therefore, the principle Historical Contradiction over/against which the Global Formation Design operates is the struggle in the social arena to reassert the mission of the church.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

PRIMAL

COMMUNITY

The Global Formation Design is created to effect the style of the missional People of God as servants to the church and to the world.

The strategic objective is to reorder society into primal communities with a sense of corporateness. These communities will form a global network involving local man in the structural reformulation of society. This will include structures of human care that provide for all the basic needs. Local man's global image will enable him to create a corporate life style and to be internally disciplined.

RECOVERED

MISSION

Local man will be re-grounded in his local church through the ordered implementation of a tactical system. The formation of corporately pastored churches will peel away the pietism that surrounds the church and help local man to see all of his time as assigned time. The bishop dynamic of the church will be recovered in recreation of the pastors' pastor as a structure of the historical church. Working within the foundation of the structures. local man will enable the church to once again see herself as mission in relation to the world.
GLOBAL

ORDER

The creation and telling of a common missional story across the movement of the spirit will carry out a resurgence in human motivity. Poverty, chastity and obedience, the ancient vows of the church, will be recovered through the creation of a secular form for the New Religious Mode. A global movemental historical order will be created that contains symbolic and extended forms in which families can act out their decision to take up the vows of the church and be mission to God in history.

The strategic objective, therefore, of the Global Formation Design is to establish a global movemental order. This will insure that structures of local order enable local disciplined corporateness.

IX: GLOBAL FORMATION DESIGN

C-25: RELIGIOUS HOUSE COMPLEX

The Religious House Complex is composed of three forms: Missional Stations, Care Nexus and Order Priors. The Missional Stations form structures external engagement; the Care Nexus form demonstrates comprehensive human care; and the Order Priors form symbolizes representational responsibility. The Religious House Complex operates in the general social arena of disciplined community style. Historical: Contradictions the Religious House Complex impacts are seen by examining its relationship to disciplined secular-religious style of the movement. The Religious House Complex is designed to accomplish intensive grassroots training of local churchmen in secularreligious style of mission to the world.
MISSIONAL

STATIONS

A movement needs missional stations to articulate and focus the task of missional engagement in defined geosocial units. Comprehensive "ridding is necessary to have an adequate picture of geographic space. The stations function as nodes linking smaller units to the whole and providing the interrelationships of the entire movement. This comprehensive global' network maintains the continuity and the commonness of the movement at all points.

Man has lost his understanding of what it means to be vocationally significant because of the complexity of the seemingly unrelated demands on his life. The common social understanding of what is crucial implies that the economic dimension takes precedence over the cultural question of what it means to be missionally engaged.

The establishment of missional stations around the globe focus movement activity on disciplined troops that are trained ~n tactical engagement in the local church and the social processes. The station embodies the revolutionary principle of local autonomy while maintaining the movements common internal life. At the same time, the station is maintained as a regional sign of a community experiment in missional families who see all time, space, and task assigned on behalf of mission. Missional stations strategically placed are the key device for the expansion of the network of movemental forces.

CARE

NEXUS

The Care Nexus is the form which sustains and nurtures the movement for its ongoing expenditure in mission. Spirit care of the individual through methods which enable depth reflection on the meaning of life is a high priority. Intentional corporate structuring is the means of effectively caring for the needs of every individual. By being self sufficient the Religious House is a sign for all men of the possibility of being free from economic tyranny.

A major obstacle to care structures comes from no image of care having a missional task. Loss of the meaning of how man is cared for through his external expenditure prevents the understanding that the only goal of the care nexus is the external task rather than internal manipulation.

Care Nexus functions as a constant reminder of the vision and the demand in any covenantal relationship. Human caring is demonstrated through a structure which establishes the missional priorities in terms of necessary resources and station assignments for each member in that missional structure. This frees him to direct his time and energy in terns of effectiveness and supplies an objective accountability to the external task. Care Nexus maintains the unitteam structure by enlarging the spirit context of the specific missional activity and holding each team member accountable to that context.

ORDER

PRIOR

The form of order prior is based upon the individual's decision to be responsible for the mission. His style is one which embodies the role of the servant. Part of his role is being the consensus representative of the particular decisional group - as well as of the movement. Finally, as the symbolic head he is assigned the total responsibility of the religious house dynamic.

In our times the formation of global order prior dynamic is blocked by the image of success of bureaucratic efficiency as the primary goal of any structure. Bureaucratic systems which are intent on keeping their own house in order have submerged the sense of comprehensive mission. The result ~n symbolic leadership has been to idolize charisma, polish, and efficiency rather than to embody the dynamic qualities of spirit leadership that culls the corporate wisdom of the whole structure. Another contradiction is that special significance is attached to status positions such that the overall significance of each responsible post is disregarded.

Order Prior dynamic provides a new corporate leadership style embodying the wisdom and consensus of the corporate group. The prior dynamic holds the image of the deep power of symbolic roles to state the consensus and recontext the vision. This style reveals that the struggle to become the iron symbol of the servant/king is spiritual.

The social philosophy of the Religious House complex is a demonstration that it is possible to have comprehensive nurture, priorship and missional engagement. It also acts as a sign in the formation of the global movemental order. Therefore the principle historical contradiction over against which the Religious House Complex operates is that of parochial, undisciplined style that undermines formation of grassroots participation in the task. The strategic objective of the Religious House Complex is the creation of disciplined corporate style. This ensures that a sign is raised for the historical church of disciplined commitment to the rebuilding of the social structures.

REGIONAL

LIAISON

GROUP

The Regional Liaison Group consists of the Regional Representative, Host Team and Evaluation Team. The Regional Representative presents the regional course schedule and informs the participants of local activity. The Host Team assumes responsibility for participant information for the region. The Regional Liaison Group is the visible demonstration of possibilities for future movement engagement.

The Regional Liaison Group operates out of an understanding of itself as the people that take responsibility for the course participants further movement activity. They operate out of the following principles for their participation within the course structure. The presence of the Regional Liaison group demonstrates the intentionality of the course as well as embodies the local movement dynamic. It is understood that all the faculty's wisdom concerning participants belongs to the region. The Regional Liaison Group insures followup nurture by obtaining the necessary information from the faculty and by observation. Finally, the Regional Liaison coordinates and manages all enablement structures.

RSI operates in these five ways: It is adjustable to any group in any local situation; the basic course outline is followed explicitly; the first teacher is in charge of the total course; both faculty and enablement forces assume any role necessary for the success of the course; and participants are directed towards movement engagement so that RSI can be the structured means of theologically awakening local churchmen.

29: PARISH LEADERSHIP COLLOQUY
INCLUSIVE

TEACHING

FACULTY

The PLC consists of three component groups: Inclusive Teaching Faculty, Support Squads, and Regional Liaison Group. The first component group, Inclusive Teaching Faculty, teaches the course from the PLC model; the Support Squads handle all course practics in an unobtrusive manner; the Regional Liaison Group acts as the link between the participants and the local movement. The course is designed to evoke a new vocational decision in local church leadership.

The Inclusive Teaching Faculty consists first of the teaching team which has responsibility for lecturing, leading seminars and workshops. The worship team assigns the liturgist roles and contextualizes the daily worship. The participant observers are apprentice teachers who learn the content and pedagogical techniques of the course.

The faculty always includes clergy and laymen. The person designated as first teacher is in charge of the total course. Faculty assignments are based on the ..needs of the group. Faculty (there seems to be something left out of the original here.)

The Movement Nurture Post operates through movement common symbols and rites for all types of groups through constant evaluation of Movement Nurture through symbolic leadership that intentionalizes spirit growth, and through the image that spirit transformation enables intellectual and vocational nurture. This implies a common study model that can be easily appropriated in the regional structures. The post then becomes the hub for regional colleagues to re-establish their vision and corporate collegiality.

SECULAR

IMPACTMENT

GUILD

The Secular Impactment Guild focuses on the task of recontexting the secular community for new possibilities of humanness. The guild secures knowledge of establishment groups, and social arenas together with the awareness of their gifts which are needed for strategic engagement. By means of occupational assignment in the social arenas, another way is provided to engage the established structures. The guild enables the creation of signal projects. It also recontextualizes secular man through the New Individual and New Society Course, other such secular courses, and by the use of consultations. This guild creates an image of how it is possible to impact the whole social fabric.

The operating principles which enable the missional stations to experiment with the movement's impact on the world are: movement assignments in occupational and social areas based on impact priorities; secular impact catalyzed by embodying the secularreligious style; social process methods shared; vocational engagement with, a global missional context, and New Individual and New Society Course as the basic impactment tool. The execution of these principles in the region provides the region with a form for social impactment.

LOCAL

CHURCH

STATION

The purpose of the Local Church Station is to initiate nurture and provide continuing monitoring of the Local Church Project. Systematic cultivation of clergy and formatting field visits are beginning activities. Local church consultations with regulation centrum, local training schools, and clergy guilds enable the growth and nurture of these projects. The Local Church Stations provides continuing advisory services to the regional galaxies for continuity and maturity. The objective is the completion of the Local Church Project to enable its reduplication throughout the globe.

Operating principles that guide the Local Church Stations in its enablement of the Local Church Project are: the provision of auxiliary priors with model building methods; edge experiments; the regional rehearsal of common memory and movement history; the exposure of new movement forces to the Local Church Experiment and advanced courses; and a missional context and accountability for global vision within all covenants. This station thus provides the region with a local centrum that coordinates the Local Church Experiment.

MOVEMENT

COMMUNICATION

OFFICER

The Movement Communication Office is a center for holding movement files, global reports, and communication needs of the regions. The communication officer receives and disseminates printed movement material and keeps necessary records and data. All public relations materials are monitored through this office. It provides a common movement memory and record bank as well as a communication node between local and global structures.

The operating principles which enable the movement communication officer to provide a communication network for all dimensions of the movement are: good public relations that aid the effectiveness of the mission; complete, uptodate, orderly file of movement people and course prospects that are available to the region to enable effective penetration and movement development; each geo-coordinator informed about what is happening in the movement around the globe; reports as a form of accountability; and effective methods that take priority over efficiency. This officer thus provides the practical enablement of the region as a spirit dynamic in the region.

The Missional Station Provides the structures for catalyzing the missional activities of the region. The operating principles are: trusting the wisdom of grassroot people; all movement methodologies made available; covenants intentionalized by assignment and accountability structures; movement memory and vision used for continual contexting of the vocational demand; and the cruciality of spirit nurture maintained through enabling movement leadership. This station thus stands as a direction post and resource bank for regional activities.

74: CARE NEXUS
Care Nexus consists of six component groupings: Symbolic Life Team; Internal Discipline Unit: Research and Curriculum Arm; Central Finance Department; Children's Institute Staff, and Food Planning Service. The first component grouping, Symbolic Life Team, ensures the planning and resource enablement for the symbolic life of the house; the Internal Discipline Unit is responsible for organizing and updating internal house structure; the Research and Curriculum Arm is responsible for planning the study life for the quarter; the Central Finance Department is to ensure comprehensive budgeting; the Children's Institute Staff is accountable for children programming and curriculum. The Food Planning Service enables the food program for the house. The Care Nexus ensures the smooth running of the internal structures of the house as a sign to the region of the possibility of structuring all of life.
SYMBOLIC

LIFE

TEAM

The Symbolic Life Team carries out the planning and resource enablement of all aspects of symbolic experimentation. This would include worship, celebration, ecclesiola meetings, decor, and also the executing of treks, odysseys and the religious mode exercises. This team ensures the smooth operation of these experiments as they give structured comprehensive and depth spirit nurture for the region.

The operating principles for symbolic life are: spirit nurture enables the transformation of knowledge and skills into a missional context accountability and absolution rites held at gatherings of the covenanted body; corporate celebrations held on a yearly timeline as are days of discontinuity; continual contexting on historical and common symbols, songs, decor, and internal discipline; and the movement's office celebrated daily.

INTERNAL

DISCIPLINE

UNIT

The internal discipline Unit is responsible for the organization and updating of internal house structures in corporate life. The tasks of housecleaning and house maintenance as a spirit dynamic are structured by the unit. Basic to this is compiling a comprehensive list of jobs, a task chart which assigns all time, and weekly and quarterly time designs for their completion on a rotating schedule. These are held with an assignment rationale, with the entire program being evaluated quarterly.

The operating principles for the Internal Discipline Unit are: assignments and Workday missionally contexted; all time/space is assigned time/space; house structures enable practice to free up the major body to be engaged in the research task all roles can be appropriated by all disciplined men; and the formats are built to rotate by teams with consideration given to missional equalization of time/task blocks for the week

RESEARCH

AND

CURRICULUM

ARM

The Research and Curriculum Arm is the structure within the Care Nexus that intentionalizes the common wisdom and provides data for making comprehensive decisions. This includes developing workshop formats for long range models, external engagement programs, and building the context for the Religious House preparation. This group is responsible for planning internal study life, taking part in edge movement research and studies, programming problem solving units, structural planning and evaluation workshops. Research is further facilitated by keeping the house library and having study materials available. A well structured curriculum and research format will enable the comprehensive training of all house participants and provide a format for regional training.

The operating principles of the Research and Curriculum Arm are: Spirit nurture enables the appropriation of movement skills and knowledge; the movement engaged in edge study and edge research of the movement; knowledge of comprehensive grids and models enable house colleagues to provide edge leadership necessary for the region's development; common study enable common memory; and common memory papers enable a common memory bank. This structure, therefore, provides the direction for the region's depth grounding of care and holds the region accountable to maintaining the vision.

CENTRAL

FINANCE

DEPARTMENT

The Central Finance Department is to carry out the comprehensive budgeting and accounting fund. This would include setting up a bookkeeping system and record for house budget, food, income, stipends and the dispersal of funds. The major objective of this department is to insure the house operating on its own funds which free UD funds for external mission

The operating principles for the Central Finance Department are: each house selfsustaining; no external missional funds used for house support; financial decisions made in the context of mission; corporate budgets made by house consensus; periodic financial reports given; and each family create its own family budget that is filed with the finance department. This department, therefore, provides guidelines for missional use of all financial resources of the house.

CHILDREN'S

INSTITUTE

STAFF

The Children's Institute Staff is contained within the Care Nexus in order to provide for child training. It creates and executes a comprehensive children's curriculum. It plans and implements the time/space designs, the course schedules for the year, and meal-time structures related to children's training.

The operating principles for the Children's Institute Staff are: Children are trained in global and local movemental heritage and missional style; children participate in house assignment and time lines and are held accountable; families are accountable for discipline of the children; children are held accountable for their decision to be the religious house; and planning and evaluation of children structures includes children's wisdom and adult guidance. This structure creates basic operation for family urban living that can be reduplicated in and through regional structure.

FOOD

PLANNING

SERVICE

The Food Planning Service is in charge of the total food program for the religious house. It plans the menus and purchases food wholesale and retail. It also creates an effective space design for the kitchen and the time design for food preparation and shopping. The Food Planning Service holds the tension between providing adequate sustenance within the budget and presenting imaginal meals which uplift the mood of the group.

The operating principles for the Food Planning Service are: rotating assignments; food format a spirit dimension; balanced diet; large quantity purchasing; and economy as guideline in food preparation. This structure enables the region to see the possibility of the economic as a servant and not as a tyrant.

The Care Nexus is the spirit enablement and nurture structure that releases colleagues for the external mission. The operating principles are: creation of common stories and symbols that hold imaginally the task of the movement; development of assignment constructs that give form to collegial expenditure; corporate gatherings of the movement that utilize the common symbols and stories to rehearse colleagues' selfidentity; intentional celebrations that are signal times for the movement to rehearse its oneness in the task; and finally, serious human care that enables a colleague to stand before his real life, discovering the transforming power of the word in the daily mundane encounter. This Care Nexus dynamic enables and intentionally plans the enablement tasks in a spiritizing framework.

75 ORDER PRIORS
The Order Priors Form consists of 4 component groupings: Religious House Priors, Ecclesiola (Care) Priors, External Mission Priors, Galactic Auxiliary Priors, and Area/Continental Priors. The first component grouping, Religious House Priors enable and are responsible for the house and the region; Ecclesiola Priors nurture the spiritual growth of the house members; External Mission Priors coordinate the movement and historical order in common task; Galactic Auxiliary Priors insure the effective interpreting of global/ local wisdom in the Local Church Experiment.
RELIGIOUS

HOUSE

PRIORS

The Religious House Priors provide a rationale and framework for regional and metro assignments including recruitment task forces, third and fourth teachers for courses, and other movement structures in a given geography. This prior dynamic implements a spirit care dynamic for all metro colleagues, both at the house and in metro settings. Locating the house in a strategic urbanized area, overseeing its financial stability, and holding families responsible for family timelines are included in their responsibility. Training house and metro colleagues in corporateness methodologies and planning the vision dynamic of house collegium are duties of the prior. Participation in continental teaching assignments with priors and colleagues from other regions speaks to the global aspect of priorship and enlarges their perspective on their local responsibility. Holding this symbolic role, the prior embodies the power of disciplined corporateness in the movemental community.

The operating principles of the Religious House Prior are: the prior serves as symbol of a global order community; the prior family is assigned for one year while being available for any new assignment to anywhere in the globe; the prior is a spirit growth enabler through globaltask vision and contexting; the priors are enablers of the penetration design of the region; and the prior is the custodian of common memory and methodologies.

ECCLESIOLA

PRIOR

The role of Ecclesiola Prior nurtures the spirit life of the house within an ecclesiola structure of college, seminary and sodality. This takes the form of contexting covenantal relations, structures for accountability and absolution, the provision of guru training, spirit grounding tools, the planning of internal life conversation structures and the training of the corporate memory.

The operating principles for the Ecclesiola Prior are: primary discussions of the covenant take place in the ecclesiola; short courses on accountability/absolution hold the seriousness of the covenant; guru training involves a radical style shift of nondirected conversation; internal life conversations establish the framework of corporateness within the community; and training of the corporate memory insures movement continuity.

EXTERNAL

MISSION

PRIOR

External Mission Priors are out to create comprehensive guidelines for the movement program. To accomplish this role the prior prepares special strategy (e.g. the development office) The prior is the one who initiates the basic penetration format, movement support and local church formulation. The prior also receives and coordinates the geographic scheduling of courses, constructs and programs. Thus he links together the regional movement colleagues toward a common goal.

The operating principles for External Mission Priors are: the prior responsible for the overarching and comprehensive coordination usually from Order Base; the prior responsible for developing an overarching rationale for regional effectiveness; evaluating and planning done every quarter while coordination meetings are held every week; RS1 is the first priority in the region; and the contexting of the mission as global.

GALACTIC

AUXILIARY

PRIOR

The Galactic Auxiliary Priors are responsible for the coordination of the four galactic churches under the couple's supervision. They organize the training sessions which deal with the practical aspect of the Local Church Experiment and are accountable for creating common guidelines for strategic planning. They conduct spirit analysis of the problems of the churches in the Local Church Experiment, and provide depth training in spirit methods for the galaxy.

The operating principles for Galactic Auxiliary Priors are: practical training in the Local Church Experiment manuals; beneath every local church 'e practical problem lies an underlying spirit problem; training in spirit methodologies; missionally related churches enable each other; common guidelines insure power in the corporate thrust and the priors serve as symbol of missional disciplined family as symbolic leadership.

CONCLUSIONThe Order Priors maintain the symbol of iron men who assume total responsibility for their assigned task. Practically this means structuring the internal life and external mission of their station, coordinating the movement activities relative to the common global priorities, intentionalizing the spirit nurture of the assigned area through common wisdom training, and experimenting with form of corporate time/task/space/finance models.

The Religious House Complex maintains the vision of a renewed religious community with a corporate, disciplined style. The practical manifestation of this vision includes a polity design that honors the movement's wisdom, grassroot needs and global priorities; an economic design that protects local autonomy; a style experiment of disciplined corporateness and a community of missionally related colleagues; contextual studies that update and articulate the edge of theological insight within the global society' and coordinating guidelines that relate the practical aspect of the region to the movement's common thrust.

C-26 COLLEGIAL EXTENSION CPMPLEX
The Collegial Extension Complex is composed of three forms: Extended Covenants, Intern Program, and House Church. The Extended Covenant form objectifies missional commitment; the Intern Program form provides the context to intensify roles in the movement and the House Church form symbolizes covenantal relationships. The Collegial Extension Complex operates in that general social arena of contemporary covenantal relationships. The historical contradictions which collegial extension complex impacts is seen by examining its relationship to present day corporate structures. The Collegial Extension Complex is designed to create and sustain the missional covenants of the movement.
EXTENDED

COVENANTS

The Extended Covenants sustain the global movement collegiality in corporate missional tasks through a covenant that holds the vision of representational deeds. Symbols keep man conscious of his covenantal decisions and accountable to the seriousness of the task. Thus, witness is given to the fact that the spirit movement pervades all levels of society.

The basic contradiction of the Extended Covenant dynamic is that society has lost an image of covenantal responsibility. The meaning of social accountability has been reduced to pharisaical contracts that define legalistically the human relationships necessary for a particular task. This causes any mission to be seen in its institutional rigidity rather than as a dynamic covenantal responsibility. The resulting fragmentation of a man's life means that he does not see how in his total life to act out covenants of social accountability. Therefore, he cannot see how to exercise his responsibility on a globa1 scale.

The strategic objective or extended Covenants is to give form to every colleague's decision to become the movemental dynamic in the midst of his particular social environment. This involves self-consciously applying common movemental s,1nbols and structures which objectify the significance of covenant. This objectification of decisional freedom to be covenanted is the foundation for the movement's consciousness that one's final accountability is to God.

INTERN

PROGRAM

The Intern Program embraces the philosophy that every man is a spirit man Through the reeducation and spirit training people enter the movemental order holding the value of corporate missional continuity and collegiality. This radical context enables authentic life decisions to be lived.

The historical contradictions of the Intern Program dynamic are the mindset of present society that does not enable particular vocations and roles to be experienced as significant within the total dynamic of the social process. The effectiveness of a man's participation in history is based on his successfulness in acquiring skills rather than a comprehensive context for the role that is needed for the missional task. As a result, crucial vocational decisions are made without the experience of in depth grounding of that role in the spirit dimension or the overall missional objective for each particular responsibility.

Intern Program is a contextual training program in which the various movement roles are rehearsed. This includes a period of orientation during which the intern engages in various assignments in the movemental structures and attains familiarity with the movement's common memory and wisdom. This constant recontexting ensures the appropriation and circulation of edge insights, sharpening the intern's ability to take on the complex responsibility of the movement.

HOUSE

CHURCH

The House Church symbolizes the missional covenant without which the corporate body could nor De sustained. It involves the rehearsal of the community's primal story and celebrates the brokenness of the community's life, which is always present. Holding the individual accountable to the corporate covenant and pronouncing absolution honors his decisions and enables him again to engage in the comprehensive mission.

The historical contradictions of the house church dynamic are that contemporary rituals reduce the celebration of life to the successful and the enjoyable rather than the total givenness of life, resulting in ritualistic activities that deny the agony and expenditure that occupy the major portion of an individual's life. Within a community's life, this means there is no accountability to stand before the mystery and embrace significant events in the common task of that community. This also implies that modern rites do not communicate the globality of any community's life and the demand to restate the missional vision.

House Church enables movemental colleagues to stand present to the dramatization of the Word in the world, celebrating the brokenness of life through the historical symbols of the bread and the wine and holding the tension of the demand and promise of the Word through accountability and absolution rites. This structure also provides a revisioning of the continuity of the global mission by holding up and celebrating significant events in the life of individuals, families and the movement.

Finally, the Collegial Extension Complex is a key demonstration of corporateness. The ongoing global movement will be sustained through covenants, radical reeducation and symbolic celebrations. Therefore the principal historical contradiction over against which the Collegial Extension Complex operates is that of contract-oriented structures within presentday society that do not hold the depth of covenantal rehearsal demanded by movement colleagues to celebrate life as it is and to be held accountable for the task of the church. The strategic objective of the Collegial Extension Complex objectifies and intensifies covenantal relationships within the movement. This assures the collegiality and common vision of all movement forces.

76: EXTENDED COVENANT
The Extended Covenant consists of five components: Movemental Order Designers, Extended Order Experimenters, Symbolic Order Priors, Movemental Development Strategists, and Collegial Care Structurers. The first component grouping, Movemental Order Designer', establishes the degree of missional participation of the Movemental Order; the Extended Order Experimenters establish the degree of participation in the Extended Order; the Symbolic Order Priors embody the symbolic leadership of the Order; the Movemental Development Strategists are concerned with the management of the Order's resources; and the Collegial Care Structures provide the structures that hold men accountable to the task.
MOVEMENTAL

ORDER

DESIGNERS

Movemental Order Designers are the organized forces of the movement who operate within regional structures but do not base their covenant through a Religious House. This structure includes participation in accountability and absolution rites, concrete care structures in the local parish, and support of the movement's finances. These forces image themselves to be under assignment using symbols that objectify movement covenant in order to be held accountable to the mission and thereby creating conscious corporate discipline.

The Movemental Order operates on the understanding that covenants are sustained through concrete accountability to a particular social community, that symbols objectify covenantal intention; that covenant demands concrete care structures to maintain the vision; that the image of being under assignment clarifies the task of the covenant; and that covenantal relationships demand regular contact with the disciplined community.

EXTENDED

ORDER

EXPERIMENTERS

Extended Order Experimenters are covenanted movemental forces committed to the church and commissioned by the movemental order to operate within the regional framework holding a specified nonresidential covenant with the religious house complex. These experimenters see themselves under assignment to strategically located vocational stations. The structures that hold this covenant in being are solitary/corporate worship participation, movement symbols, regional assignments in the penetration, permeation, and enablement sections; family timeline, budget, and constitution; and financial model for movement support.

The operating principles of the extended order are: that the covenant demands participation in vocational covenant; that a balance between worldly vocations and religious house participation holds both stations accountable to comprehensive needs; that covenant demands daily rehearsal of its story; that regional assignments are the primary priorities within the covenantal demand; and that the family community demands new forms of missional thrust.

SYMBOLIC

ORDER

PRIORS

The Symbolic Order priors provide the coordination of regional assignment of the extended movement by being symbolic leaders who identify the edge regional wisdom, prioritize tasks, symbolize intentional models, hold accountability in the region, and as House Church officiant rehearse and context the missional covenant.

The operating principles of the Symbolic Order Priors are: regional assignments coordination; missional tasks demand prioritizing; time line/battleplans intentionalize action; significant roles are missionally assigned; and movement direction is shaped by making available edge regional insights.

MOVEMENTAL

DEVELOPMENT

STRATEGISTS

Movemental Development Strategists rely on strategic planning capable of releasing personal and business resources in order to enable economic missional covenant. This would involve prioritizing needs and long term timelines to clarify the direction of development, and building a format for training colleagues in development procedures.

The operating principles of Movemental Development Strategists are: efficient management enables effective use of missional resources; strategic planning releases personal and business resources; financial enablement supports the financial covenant of local autonomy; that training of development personnel demands clear foundational understanding of the missional needs; and that long range timeline and battleplans enable comprehensive planning for the particular task.

COLLEGIAL

CARE

STRUCTURERS

Collegial Care Structurers provide spiritual nurture for the movemental extended order through contextual education, pedagogical training; vocational guilds, and imaginal education; through the team/unit accountability structure; through the symbolizing and ritualizing of the visions of local man; and through the continual contexting of missional polity. This structure shares the collegial style of the global movement and provides a channel for experimentation in new role possibilities.

The operating principles of Collegial Care Structurers are: care structures operate through the contexting of movemental symbols; symbols hold families before the vision and possibilities; experiences are appropriated by intentional reflection; RS1 pedagogy creates disciplined troops; and accountability units oversee the individual spirit journey.

The Extended Covenant form operates in various levels of movement commitment by participating in the movemental symbolic life which creates corporate style, by including financial support of movement at all levels, by continually contextualizing and strategically thinking to pull off the task, by operating out of all assigned time/space/finances, all of which are concrete forms of accountability to previous decisions; and by participating in pedagogical study and social process/religious mode examination so that the total movement has a relevant form for covenant in any secular/religious vocation.

77. INTERN PROGRAM
The Intern Program consists of four components: Internal Life Sustainers, Assignment Structure Coordinators; Training Model Designers, and Global Movement Contexters. The Internal Life Sustainers create interior discipline structures for the intern; the Assignment Structure Coordinators insure participation of interns on all levels of the house life; the Training Model Designers create a model for corporate wisdom training; the Global Movement Contexters shape the global mission context for interns
INTERNAL

LIFE

SUSTAINERS

Internal Life Sustainers are the forces that collect, order, and recontext the movemental orders wisdom in education, style, and symbol. Maintaining a style of detachment from past experiments, these forces organize a structure for interns to experience their total life as being assigned to significant stations by ritualizing and celebrating every event as a step in their spirit journey.

Internal Life Sustainers hold the intern program in being through the continual contexting of the Word in every event, by sharing methods, common memory, and corporate wisdom; by assigning all time and resources in prioritized tasks, and by maintaining the vision of the decisional stance that missional living is disciplined corporateness.

ASSIGNMENT

STRUCTURE

COORDINATORS

The Assignment Structure Coordinators create the assignment schedules within the context of the total allocated missional task. Coordinating structures provide the rationale and spirit nurture that upholds the corporate stance of "life before the Word in true community" and context the necessity of obedience within the spirit life.

Interns, by being scheduled to experience various aspects of order life, begin their intern year with the operating principle that resources and individual creativity are expendable in every situation. Symbolic leadership training stresses collegial accountability and enables the intern to see the necessity of total affirmation of every assignment. Corporate discipline permits enablement structures to be seen in the light of the total missional thrust as the intern sees that it is spirit transformation of assignments and not favored status assignments that enable the mission.

TRAINING

MODEL

DESIGNERS

Training Model Designers are charged with creating the models for common study and research for the intern. Rationales are also created for training and evaluating skills in pedagogy. This structure insures the articulation of the Order's spirit journey and the dissemination of common wisdom. These models provide a grounding of the development of religious and secular symbols for the intern.

The operating principles out of which Training Model Designers function, includes a model through which an intern can travel in the same direction as the corporate spirit journey. RS1 as the foundation of the movement's theological stance is the major structure for the intern. With this grounding in theology, the training model designers provide opportunities for the intern to experiment in various styles that can be used in the required situations. This implies a format that allows authentic struggling with new forms of corporateness as he is trained in the use of transestablishment eyeglasses. Corporate study and problemsolving units then become a treasury of content for forging out a new life style.

GLOBAL

MOVEMENT

CONTEXTERS

Global Movement Contexters ground the intern in the worldwide covenantal mission of the movement enabling him to see the scope of movement activity and the global needs and vision. Instructed in the social philosophy and contentlessness of the Word, he is made aware of the historical contradictions and the strategic objectives of the movement.

Global Movement Contexters give the intern a context in the theological presuppositions and social philosophy of the global movement. In this context he is able to see the mission as objective caring for local man. The global reports provide a context for the intern to hold himself accountable to his particular missional covenant. The reports also provide a way to see the seriousness of holding all colleagues to share and learn from global experiments. In this way, the intern begins to see the common direction of all movement activity and the common struggle to be a corporate disciplined body of people.

The Intern Program structures the journey of an intern by creating training formats that continually hold up the decisional relationship to every assignment, by stressing the necessity for collegial responsibility and accountability, by the sharing of corporate methods with every intern, and by providing interns with participation in various aspects of order life, including common memory training in the context of the international discipline.
78: HOUSE CHURCH
The House Church form consists of four components: Accountability/ Absolution Rehearsers; Common Meal Officiants; Common Meal Enablers, and External/Internal Reporters. The Accountability/Absolution Rehearsers dramatize the demand and promise of the Word in history; The Common Meal Officiants dramatize the historical symbol of brokenness and the embracing of that brokenness as a gift of the Father; the Common Meal Enablers prepare and organize the House Church format; the External/Internal Reporters prepare the movemental news and progress reports to be presented to the total body at House Church.
ACCOUNTABILITY/

ABSOLUTION

REHEARSERS

The Accountability/Absolution Rehearsers symbolically hold up the covenant made by the movemental order and rehearse their faithfulness to this covenant. The form of this accountability is a question directed to every member present on his faithfulness to the rule with a ritualistic answer of yes/no or no/yes. This covenantal answer which cannot be simplified to a yes or a no enables each one present to dramatize and rehearse his past week's journey. The conclusion of the ritual is the proclamation of the word of Absolution that dramatizes the assurance of all life received by God which then releases the body to pick up the burden of the future.

The framework out of which the House Church Accountability/ Absolution Rehearsers operates is a dramatization of the demands on each covenanted member's life. This includes the reminder that man is given permission to authentically reflect on his past week; that accountability is an opportunity to state before the community his faithfulness to the covenant; that a response to life in a covenantal body can never be an unqualified yes or no; and that the proclamation of absolution on his answer is the rehearsal of his story, that his broken life is received. The past is received, his life as it is given is good and that the future is open.

COMMON

MEAL

OFFICIANTS

The Common Meal is officiated over by two movement colleagues, one of whom is an ordained minister. At the opening of the liturgy a context for the meal is given that states the basic theological understanding of the church in relation to the embodiment of the brokenness of all life. Both officiants then lead the gathered body in the liturgy, acting symbolically on behalf of the whole body. The ordained minister administers the instruments of bread and wine symbolizing a ritual celebrated in every Christian denomination. At the conclusion of the meal, celebrations of significant events in the lives of individuals, families, and the movement are enacted by the total body.

The operating principles of the Common Meal Officiants are that the basic ritual of the historical church is the basic story of the movement and is therefore celebrated on a regular basis; that symbolic leadership for the common meal is a dramatization of the need for all men to take responsibility for the celebration of the Word in history; that to honor the wisdom of the historic church in having ordained ministers assigned to high symbolic rituals, only ordained ministers will administer the bread and wine; that the context of our basic understanding is to be recontexted at every common meal; and that celebrations of significant events in the lives of those in the movement are necessary to see all life as a gift from God.

COMMON

MEAL

ENABLERS

The Common Meal Enablers set the style and mood of the common meal by creating the models and structures which transform the basic meal format into a high celebrative event. The decor model includes the symbols and other elements needed to set the mood. An assignment structure allows participation by the corporate body in the preparation and insures that all essential necessities are provided. Intentional supervision molds the decor, style and physical preparation into a common thrust toward a mood that transparently enables the common celebration.

The Common Meal Enabler operates out of a framework that recognizes the value of common decor, style and symbols. The table setting, provision of elements and other necessities are accomplished before the meal begins through corporate assignments. The movement symbols are honored by inclusion in the decor model. The basic format is provided but the mood is set by the decor and style. All these principles are followed so that the House Church dynamic is seen as the major event of the movement's symbolic life.

EXTERNAL/

INTERNAL

REPORTERS

External/Internal Reporters are the forces that set the context and format for order news that is presented at House Church. This reporting includes the areas of global order, regional happenings, and movement progress on all levels. This structure insures a common memory bank of current news that reflects the missional thrust of the total order.

The framework out of which External/Internal Reporters operate is the collection and selection of new reports throughout the globe that report on the state of the movement. The operating principles include the need for comprehensive perspective on the development of the movement's activities, the need of celebrating crucial happenings in the life of the movement, the cruciality of collegial accountability of its specific task around the globe, and the ritualizing of the acceptance and thus responsibility for the movement in all its deeds. The reports become the historical memory bank, preserving the common memory and direction of the movement.

The House Church operates through grounding common symbols and rites of the historical church and the movement by missionally contexting each aspect of the movement's life. Accountability and absolution, which takes place at every symbolic movement gathering provides clarity on what it means to stand before the Lord and a particular community in covenant. The very rehearsal of House Church dramatizes the decision of the movement to be a disciplined spirit community in the world as the church.

CONCLUSIONThe Collegial Extension Complex operates through the creation of internal discipline by contexting the spirit life and corporate style with intentional symbols and myths. This includes the training of interns in every aspect of corporate life, including the assignment of all time/space and resources for the mission; the structuring of common symbols and structures for all those in an extended relationship; and a common weekly ritual that holds the movement's story in the context of the historical church. This complex insures commonality in every missional assignment and the nurture needed to provide the possibility of everyone in the movement to rehearse their self story.
C 27 ORDER CORPORATENESS

The Order Corporateness complex is composed of three forms: Convocation Orders; Elders Visits; and Symbolic Centrum. The Order Convocations form creates the common missional context; the Elders Visits form provides accountability to the global Movement, and the Symbolic Centrum form symbolizes and maintains global focus of Movement. The Order Corporateness complex operates in the general social arena of establishing global unity. The historical contradiction which order corporateness complex impacts is seen by examining its relationship to the present ways of establishing global corporateness. The Order Corporateness Complex is designed to accomplish the recovery of local man's significant participation in history.
ORDER

CONVOCATIONS

Order Convocations gather Movement colleagues for the sake of creating and grounding the common missional context. Effective results come when Everyman's wisdom is gathered in to build the corporate task. The corporate order recognizes that the thrust disintegrates into unrelated directions without a grounded missional context and it sees that energy dissipates if not channeled by a plenary consensus.

In Order Convocations, the historical contradictions blocking the creation of common missional context are the deterioration of common myths which hold the motivating vision appropriate to the demands of history; the reduction of human society to acquiescent accountability structures resulting in the obscurity of the servant role and sectarian parochialism within the Christian community.

The Strategic Objectives of creating common missional context are the perpetuation of common religious symbols which speak directly to the Movement of the need for a representational resurrectional style, the formation of selfconsciously operating models for any Movement gathering and by the reevaluation of social priorities that realistically ground the mission in its dynamical and analytical dimension. This would involve representational gatherings to report and symbolize the journey of the Movement and the edge reflection on the necessary direction.

ELDERS

VISITS

The form of an Elder's visit brings consciousness to accountability and absolution in a local arena. It allows the Movement to hold the tension between the local and global context of the mission. The Elder's visit is an intrusion into the immediacy, revealing the awe of radical possibility which sustains the Movement. The visit provides new insight and refreshed objectivity to the local demands, facilitating the working of miracles.

The contradictions that Elder's visits deal with/include the inclination of a community to reduce to less than global the context of its responsibility. A group's identifying its wisdom in terms of its local problems results in defensiveness and a loss of objectivity about the situation. Present structures hinder the flow of insights and wisdom between different communities and existing structures fail to provide the external pressure necessary for actual accountability and absolution.

In the guilding of Order Corporateness, the Elder's Visits are designed to provide the regions with the common wisdom of the Movement through periodic visits by those skilled in missional methodologies. This would enable the conducting of accountability and absolution upon the visited missional communities. The Visits provide a structure by which objectivity and detachment can be brought into every local situation. The impact of the Visit creates a happening that explodes the community with the global vision.

SYMBOLIC

CENTRUM

For the spirit movement, the Symbolic Centrum focuses on the corporate vision and depth humanness. The symbolic centrum creates and maintains global focus, preserves a rich heritage for spirit nurture and sees the urgent need for structural reformation, concretely anchoring men's decision to creatively enrich the globe.

Unless man has a way to focus his insights and organize his activities in a global context, he adopts the style of immediacy as his decisionmaking process. The contradictions that call upon a symbolic centrum involve the contexting by local man to comprehend his decisional relationships in a common context with global effectiveness. This implies a need for corporate community that is not based on a statusoriented competition but organized to global need.

The Movemental church is held together by the Symbolic Centrum, which is a power dynamic that coordinates the global movement's external mission and representationally experiments with internal life structures for the Movement. The Symbolic Centrum takes responsibility for constantly honing the edge of the disciplined style through the research dynamic of problem solving units and corporate writing. As the Symbolic Centrum embodies this dynamic, It coordinates the common memory and orchestrates the future.

The Corporate Order complex demonstrates the formation that is responsible for the primary contextualization, accountability and symbolization of the Movement as it appears in history. It orders the local/global relations which keep the Movement selfconscious to its global mission. Therefore, the principal historical contradiction over against which the Order Corporateness complex operates, is that of a reduced global vision of common mission. The strategic objective, therefore, of the Order Corporateness complex is to recover the universal religious fellowhood in primal community. This will ensure their significant participation in history.

79 ORDER CONVOCATIONS
Order Convocation consists of the following forms: Symbolic Style Rehearsers, Convocation Coordinating Enablers, Convocation Format Designers, Collegial Policy Consensus Makers. The Symbolic Style Rehearsers which insure the intentional symbolic activities of the convocation; Convocation Coordinating Enablers which enable the coordination of the practice necessary for a successful convocation; Convocation Format Designers which provide for the program activities of the convocation; and Collegial Policy ConsensusMakers which assure that the work of the convocation takes concrete form.
SYMBOLIC

STYLE

REHEARSERS

Symbolic Style Rehearsers insure contexting of missional symbols within the convocation. They demonstrate revolutionary style and enable the rehearsal of historical church and common Movement symbols. The Rehearsers are also responsible for the decor format. Finally they provide the format for accountability and absolution rites which enable the celebration of past labours.

The framework of Symbolic Style Rehearsers consists of the following operating principles. The first principle is that rehearsing the past maintains the corporate wisdom of the Movement. Secondly, accountability and absolution gives colleagues permission to continue in the missional task. The third is that dramatizing the symbols of the historical church and movement reaffirms their relevance and significance. The fourth is that rehearsing responsible style demonstrates revolutionary stance, and lastly corporate celebrations reaffirms the missional covenant.

CONVOCATION

COORDINATING

ENABLERS

Convocation Coordinating Enablers are responsible for the convocation program in all areas of enablement. They are responsible for the making of attendance assignments; the maintenance of all facilities, providing for housing, and the operation of the kitchen. Convocation Coordinating Enablers are also responsible for securing all necessary materials.

The operating principles for the Convocation Coordinating Enablers are: physical work enables total engagement; participation in work by total community demonstrates corporateness; honoring one's assignment demonstrates obedience; and providing spirit nurture enables acceptance of the tasks as significant within the mission.

CONVOCATION

FORMAT

DESIGNERS

Convocation Format Designers create the rationale for the program format. They coordinate the collection of information and direct the dissemination flow. They also make priorities for convocation invitations.

The operating principles for the Convocation Format Designers consist of the symbolic representation of the geo-social sphere which grounds the practical task. Regional leadership participation which insures a balance between the symbolic centrum and the practical battleground of the region. Graphic Movement wisdom must be presented which contains the Movement's data on global engagement. Reports should be made on all participating groups. The intentional choice of songs and rituals are key to corporate depth spirit participation as well as articulating their covenant and purpose.

COLLEGIAL

POLICY

CONSENSUS

MAKERS

The result of the activities of the Collegial Policy ConsensusMakers is a schedule of future action arising from the convocation. They establish a rationale for policy consensus and enable the convocation to establish its priorities. The ConsensusMakers begin by conducting an evaluation of the past work with the convocation, then the various issues are resolved, and finally a corporate consensus is finalized.

The operating principles of the Collegial Policy ConsensusMakers are: the ongoing thrust of the Movement is recontexted by future scheduling; consensus policy insures that decisions are responsive to the corporate missional thrust; evaluation of the past shapes the future direction; establishing priorities insures an effective rationale and corporate direction for missional expenditure; corporate resolution of issues provides clarity on the mission.

The following operating principles provide the framework of the Order Convocation form. One is that intentionalizing Movement covenant clarifies necessary decisions. Another is that by honoring grass roots wisdom, comprehensive battlefield insights are obtained. In addition, intentionally using the historical church and movement symbols grounds the mission historically and practically. Also celebrating the Movements completed works creates a corporate story. Finally, rehearsing covenant myths reaffirms movemental seriousness. These principles are maintained so that order convocations will create a common missional thrust.

80: ELDER VISITS
The Elders Visit form consists of four component groupings: Symbolic Vision Enacters; Style Rationale Designers: Movement Methods Interchanger; and Visit Program Enablers. The Symbolic Vision Enacters ensures that the Movement maintains a common vision; The Style Rationale Designers enable the enactment of a relevant style in relation to the mission; the Movement Methods Interchanger ensures that Movement methods are thoroughly disseminated; the Visit Program Enablers enable the practical preparation for the Elder's visit. An Elder's visit takes place when a Movement person, who is experienced in a particular aspect of the missional task meets with another group in order to share his wisdom.
SYMBOLIC

VISION

ENACTERS

A component of Elders Visits is the symbolic Vision Enacters. These people are responsible for preparing global reports and restating the inclusive picture of movement operations. The Symbolic Vision Enactors determine the context for absolution on past work and objectify the task by restating the vision. These Enactors enable explosion of imaginal pictures and recontext the mission in the local situation out of the global picture.

The operating principles which ground the work of the Symbolic Vision Enacters is the reality that global Movement reports maintain the common Movement Vision; an inclusive picture of Movemental development clarifies the edge direction of the Movement; the use of imaginal pictures by the Symbolic Vision Enacters explodes the real and the possible; by objectifying the missional task, the Symbolic Vision Enacters particularize the specific assignments; and in the act of endorsing the past achievements and shortcomings, the Symbolic Vision Enacters objectify the real situation. Operating out of this context the Symbolic Vision Enacters maintain the commonality of the Movement as grounded in the particular situation.

STYLE

RATIONALE

DESIGNERS

The Style Rationale Designers are responsible for defining the role of the Elder. They see that he demonstrates missional style and, further, that he demonstrate the intentional style of the People of God. They provide him with a short course rationale for the style and work of the visit. This is to ensure that the Elder embodies the global vision in order to facilitate the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of the local task within the global mission.

The operating principles of the Style Rationale Designers consist of the following: Communication of Movement edge experiments maintains corporate movement wisdom; demonstration of missional intentional style brings authenticity to the task; the stance of the Elder as the People of God demonstrates the principle of representational responsibility; embodiment of global vision expands human consciousness; and intentional short courses impact specific movement goals.

MOVEMENT

METHOD

INTERCHANGERS

The Elders Visits will include the components of Movement methods Interchanger. The Elders will evaluate the group which they are visiting. The evaluation will go in two directions as the Elders and the regions act out their accountability to each other. As Movement Methods Interchangers, the Elders will also share progress reports from the global movement, including newly developed movement edge wisdom. In addition, the Elders and the local colleagues share their wisdom in terms of methodological gifts. Due to their geographical mobility, the Elders catalyze the dissemination of information between regions. As Movement Methods Interchangers, the Elders visits act as the link which maintains the flow of new insights and methods between various local areas of the Movement.

The operating principles out of which the Movement Methods Interchangers work is based on the reality that an Elders' evaluation provides an objective audit on Movement activities. Sharing the Movement edge and methodological wisdom which benefi1 the scattered Movement, while global progress reports acknowledge the Movement's obligation to share global happenings. The Interregional exchange provides dissemination of Movement information, the Elder role as the Movement accountability system upholds the seriousness of the task

VISIT

PROGRAM

ENABLERS

The Visit Program Enablers is the component that lays down the rationale for visit format and for the various types of visits. The Visit Program Enablers design organized systems for communication and transportation. The creation of the itinerary to be followed during the Elder Visit is also their responsibility. This procedure will ensure that the program arranged for the Elder's visit will be fruitful.

The operating principles for the Visit Program Enablers is that an intentional itinerary ensures effective coverage of movement activity; the creation of a specific visit format and a careful transportation model ensures effective use of time. The Visit Program Enablers provide for the intentional expenditure of resources by designating the types of visits. A comprehensive communication model ensures updated information and provides for flexibility in operation.

The operating principles for the Elders Visit form are that to internalize the global vision the Elders continually report the global progress of the mission. The maintaining of order regional data interflow enables the creation of a common evaluation system; the Elders symbolization of radical vocational decision is a sign of engagement; and the creation of a corporate symbolic leadership demonstrates the missional style. Lastly, the elders ritualize accountability in order to maintain discipline within the global task. The construct for Elders Visits enables constant objectivity for the global task with the depth wisdom of the movement preserved and incorporated into every local situation.
81: SYMBOLIC CENTRUM
The Symbolic Centrum Form consists of four component groups: Movement Wisdom Disseminators, Global Focus Team, Futuric Movement Researchers, and Edge Symbolic Creators.

The Movemental Wisdom Disseminators enable the common memory and edge wisdom of the movement to be disseminated to the region; the Global Focus Team acquires and processes information from the globe for the benefit of local movement forces; the Futuric Movement Researchers maintain the edge movement wisdom through specified research groups; and the Edge Symbol Creators forge a common mythology for the Movement by experimenting with common symbols and rituals.

MOVEMENTAL

WISDOM

DISSEMINATORS

Movemental Wisdom Disseminators enable the movement by holding the common wisdom in written stories. Order Base forms a symbolic locus anchoring the different geosocial areas of the continental complex. Movemental wisdom disseminators provide the back cloth for creating a fruitful relationship with the historical church and the secular world. Archives and a resource library are maintained as well as a model for the receiving and dissemination of information to enable a comprehensive global mission.

The operating principles of the movemental wisdom disseminators are to gather and catalog the history of the movement in order to compile and distribute its corporate wisdom; the movement is grounded geographically and in history by maintaining a symbolic locus. An effective information model enables global permeation and is effective in coordinating intentional encounters with social institutions. Lastly, the preservation of movement records provides a basis for the continual contexting necessary to ground the stance of the movement.

GLOBAL

FOCUS

TEAM

The Global Focus Team acquires and processes information from all parts of the world. Global reports and other publications comprise a communications network which is part of the group responsibility. Emphasis is placed upon caring for international interns and visitors within the order structures. International assignments are evaluated and form is given to the teaching curriculum which demonstrate the global aspects of the movement.

The operating principles of the Global Focus Team are: global assignment evaluation enables sensitivity to global needs; the acquisition and processing of global information enables clarity on the global task. A care model for international visits and interns gives continuity and contexting for their global thrust. Global reports provide a communication network that highlights the current edge of the global thrust. The universalizing of the curriculum allows the application of movement wisdom to every situation.

FUTURIC

MOVEMENT

RESEARCHERS

The Movement maintains its practical vision through experimental research. The research group's stance is one of objective detachment and by using every available resource keeps the movement on the cutting edge at all times.

The operating principles of Futuric Movement Researchers are that "spins" on futuric vision maintain the responsiveness of the movement, depth research on edge movement dynamics gives new insights on trends and directions. Appropriation of all available resources, knowhow and technology sharpens this edge. The movement's detachment from the world's material, social and economic goals enables it to provide the authenticity and objectivity that is needed in research experiments. Finally, the creation of a common mythology provides a fabric for common memory training.

EDGE

SYMBOLIC

CREATORS

Edge Symbolic Creators forge a common language thru the use of common movement symbols and rituals. Edge Symbolic Creators provide a global focus which gives a continual context against which colleagues may form their vision. Finally, experimentation with symbols is done in order to actively orient the movement towards the future.

The operating principles of the edge symbolic creators are that symbols insure perpetuation of the story, anchor the contexting framework and provide common language that demonstrates the global missional thrust. In addition, rituals magnify and maintain the motivating power of the movement while symbolic experimentation explodes the possibilities for holding the movement's edge.

The operating principles embodied in the Symbolic Centrum form include; the Centrum provides symbolic leadership in order to catalyze spirit growth, and stands as detached from its own significance in order to be responsible to God for the world. The Centrum maintains a common symbolic life in order to sustain it's corporate missional thrust, and continually contexts the mission to create a common mythology. Finally, it trains the corporate common memory to maintain the movement heritage and to anchor the movement in history.

CONCLUSIONOperating principles of the Order Corporateness Complex are that intentionalizing of symbols establishes common missional thrust; accountability and absolution rites rehearse the seriousness of the task; honoring common wisdom insures the depth continuity of the movements future; and missional global engagement insures the comprehensiveness of the task. Finally, continual contextualization anchors covenantal decisions.
CONCLUSION
The primary design formation operates in the structure of Religious House, Collegial Extension and Order Corporateness. The operating principles include a methodology and memory that is common to one global movement and therefore insures a common thrust; a format for continuous vocational contexting that reviews the intentionality of life expenditure; a model for comprehensive assignments and accountability that creates a corporate style based on global needs rather than individual desires; a symbology composed of Historical Church and Movement symbols that empower the movement's direction of missional engagement; and a structure for grassroots participation that lays the foundation for authentic social change.
