The Saviors of God
is seen to be an expression of the internal dynamic which every
man experiences at the various stages of his conscious development.
Kierkegaard's categories have been used as a broad context to
develop this construct. The art form derived for this analysis
shows the edge of struggle at each stage. For example, the circumspect
man struggles with his self and is on the edge of confronting
the mystery of being.
The chart on the second page gives a seminar orchestration
for the whole book and may be used in conjunction with the Kierkegaardian
categories.

Man struggles in every form to find some meaning for the next
step he will take. Every man's insight, personality, and demand
is different from the next individual. Man strives for affection,
ideas, and true and the beautiful. But don't use this form to
ground into being what Kazantzakis is saying, for if you do there
is no need for you to study him.
