Week Four
FIVE DAY NSV COURSE
The five day course is designed to call forth gulldsmen
and guild leaders by grounding LENS grads, movement colleagues,
and secular bodies in the NSV methodologies, reinforcing
their vision of community and recontexting them as individuals
in the new society. The construct is to include an orientation
overview session on the course itself and sessions designed to
provide methods and tools such as workshopping, "ridding,
PSU's etc., for implementing the guild. The course takes all movement
training and wisdom of the past twenty years and puts it into
capsule form for dissemination over a five day period. It is an
actual demonstration in training methologiesO Now is the time
for this five day training construct because society is
intensely conscious of the inadequacies or even collapse of many
existing social structures. There is a resurgent spirit abroad.
Local man wants to contribute significantly to the emerging future
but is confounded by a lack of methodology and by discouragement
and frustration. The product of this course will be a group of
trained, selfconscious leaders, who, seeing the power and
potential of the tools and methodologies, will be ready to function
within a common model ( such as
a guild) to mobilize the community and renew its institutions.

Day 4 is a lab day. It begins with a lecture on Local Tactical Application which will context the work of the lab. It's followed by a trip by pressure point teams out into the community to gather data. The teams will eat lunch out and analyse their data, returning to the course site at 3:00 and reporting on their work in the evening.
This is a lecture which explains the tactic system and contexts tactical action. It, along with an assignment context, prepares the teams to be sent out into the community.
The pressure point teams spend the day out in the community gathering data, meeting in a restaurant to eat lunch and analyze where they saw the possibility of implementing their tactics. They then prepare a timeline of tactical action, and get ready to report.
This is a reporting session in which all nine teams report on their data and share their timeline. It is followed by a reflection on the total picture and on the celebration of the night before.
