VIII: GLOBAL PROJECTION DESIGN

SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY

DECISIONAL INVENTION

EXISTENTIAL PLANNING

FUTURIC

IMAGES

The Global Projection Design is one of the movement's basic reeducation designs. Its component forms enable the reordering of inclusive mission planning.

It has always been that the pioneers of each age have blazed the trail into tomorrow, Those pioneers understood -- as today the movement understands -- that change is a part of any situation and that the plans for successful ventures must be as inclusive as possible and operate with welldefined goals. The methods for today's pioneers, however, are peculiar to the twentieth century. For example, the ventures of the GM Planning Board and NASA have operated on a timeline. Such insights are also tools for today's explorers in social research and planning.

Throughout the Christian heritage from the early church councils to the nineteenth century missionary period, the church has always developed missional planning schemes. Today it is imperative that the church operate with projections as inclusive as the globe and as farsighted as history itself. Only by building plans and models dealing with the existential questions of life can the church hope again to perform its function in society.

The movement plans how the church can enable the motivation of society once again, through the projection of futuric images. While it must be kept in mind that corporate decisionmaking has within itself a powerful consensus and intentionality, it is also true that the individual is maintained only through his projected vision of the future. No man lives only in the present; one is one's future projection. Through movemental projection, the church is enabled in its global training task, and the world is released to a new style of the future' and man becomes fully human.

TheGlobal Projection Design, through its planning dynamics, provides the futuric context for the reeducation necessary for twentieth century society.

HISTORICAL CONTRADICTIONS

OUTDATED SYSTEMS

REFUSED

RISK

PRETENDED

REVOLUTION

The Global Projection Design operates in the general social arena of instruction. The historical contradiction which the whole Projection Design impacts is seen by examining its relationship to contemporary man's indecision to deal with his ever changing world.

The rapidity of change causes yesterday's operating systems and attitudes to be outdated. Security, sentimentality, nationalize and democracy are examples of systems and attitudes out of the past which continue to dictate the future. Also, mankind tends to ignore longrange planning which limits him to dealing with immediate demands forcing continued use of outdated systems. The overstratification of societal structures has alienated grassroots man from being a part of the decisionmaking process. In addition, man's separation has prevented him from seeing himself as an important member of a disciplined corporate decisionmaking group.

The individualistic style appropriated by the church has prevented it from operating efficiently. Refusal to accept global accountability has resulted in a limited sense of mission. Closely allied is the refusal of the church to employ experimental methods as she confronts critical issues. In addition, the church still finds herself gripped by fears of the economic tyrant and victimized by the past.

The historical contradictions within the spirit movement 1n our time are seen in a trend to do the easy or the obvious, rather than the necessary. Thus the Global Projection Design stands over against any lesser revolution by enabling movemental planning for the whole world, on behalf of every man of faith and every human brother.

Therefore, the principal historical contradiction over against which the Global Projection Design operates is that of man's indecision to incorporate the wisdom of his time in a plan for the future.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

GLOBAL

POLITY

RENEWED SYMBOLS

FUTURIC

VISION

The Global Projection Design is created to effect global commonness in future planning.

Reconstruction of the earth depends on timely dissemination of operating image, enabling common man to shoulder the care of the world. Movement projection design directs its planning, prioritizing and contextualizing, for instance, to motivate sanitation workers to grasp their role as liturgists who order the aesthetic life of the community. Through research, problem solving units, and wisdom interchange, projection rhymes with the world to direct movement forces to provide incisive interpretation of major social issues. In this way, for instance, networks of local problem solving units could be established to decide national vision. contradictions and goals over the following quadrennium. Projection also envisions signal social structures and styles required to pioneer the new facing of the earth, with the Fifth City as the archetype projection.

As the movement projects experimental methods in theological education and training across the globe, the church will renew her symbols. This will empower men of faith to create global awareness and responsibility in her members, at the same time resuming her societal leadership role. As an example of this we have had the great church councils of the past and, in recent times, Vatican II, which impacted the world with its deliberations. With this kind of projection, the church, presented with the movement's comprehensive models, will see the way to reorder her internal structures and discipline.

Resurgence in human motivity is a primary result of a projection design that operates with a clear vision of the future .in mind. In order to create a common global thrust, presidiums and research assemblies will be created. Interchange of ideas and human resources is essential. For example, pedagogues from other Ur cultures will be exchanged on a regularly assigned basis. The thrust of he projection design is to be the "cutting edge" of the movement, setting forth new styles and pioneering in the area of spirit methods as well as keeping alert to social changes in the secular world.

The strategic objective, therefore, of the Global Projection Design is to create a common global thrust. This will insure the consummation of inclusive missional planning.

C22: CONSENSUS BUILDING COMPLEX

MOVEMENT COUNCILS

VISIONING COLLEGIUM

The Consensus Building Complex is composed of three forms: Movement Councils, Visioning Collegium and Communications Office. The Movement Council celebrates work and builds vision and consensus; the Visioning Collegium builds the common mind and contexts daily work; the Communications Office disseminates consensed wisdom of the movement. This complex operates in the general arena of Global Projection Design. The historical contradiction which the Consensus Building Complex impacts is seen by examining its relationship to the formation of the common mind, therefore, this complex is designed to accomplish the establishment of this common mind.

Movement Councils are founded on the philosophy that a community is a reality to the extent that it raises up a visible sign representing movemental life. It also presupposes the mission as global and sustained through the use of corporate structures and corporate symbolic life. Councils come together in the belief that they can be a demonstration of a new lifestyle which embodies the primal human wisdom. Finally, councils know that new possibilities can be created and as a corporate body, they decide the movement's future on behalf of t)is world.

The Movement Councils form deals with the complex nature of a growing movement. Diversity of background and wide representation of the movement over the globe necessitates Movement Councils which honor all tradition), yet operate as one body. The symbolic nature of the Movement Council implodes to selfconsciousness both the new and the old colleagues. Also the council maintains the global perspective when the particular task of the local is all consuming. Finally the council has a yearly consolidating effect on movement size.

Movement Councils serve a pivotal role in the movement's journey. On a global schedule, councils will be a structure to gather the wisdom of widely separated colleagues. Also achieved will be the creating and sustaining of global corporateness. The symbolic power of the council dynamic validates and energizes the movemental church. It affords an opportunity for churchmen to identify themselves 'risibly with that cruciform thrust. To that end also, the council is a form to symbolize the global consensus of the movement's wisdom.

The social philosophy of Visioning Collegium is that it is essential to have a design whereby global vision is tested by the wisdom of common man. Comprehensive timelining is what allows the objectivity necessary for obedience to the comprehensiveness of the global vision. Common mind, built out of a consensed model, is the context for the daily task.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE
We know that the many tasks of the movement demand a Visioning Collegium in order that the particular tasks be continually held up against the overall vision. Colloquies, without rehearsal of common context, find isolated movemental tasks become frustrating bogs and movemental roles become static aloneness.

The Visioning Collegium form is designed to accomplish global collegiality as it rehearses the universality of the movemental order in their task, channeling the individual to total missional assignment through contexting his daily work. In this light he sees himself as a crucial, integral part of the total ongoing movemental dynamic in history.

The Communications Office is based upon the presupposition that a steadfast common vision of the movement's missional thrust is brought into sharp focus by a fully informed corporate mind. This corporate mind is forged out of the dissemination of the already held wisdom found in the archives of the movement and of the currently discovered wisdom gathered together from every level of the movement's experimentation in order to raise key questions of humanness. Also underlying the Communications Office of the Consensus Building Complex is the fact that a comprehensive global awareness permits a more effective address of the word of humanness by the movement to the world, church and revolutionary edges of the times.

At this time, in the history of the movement, we find that there are now colleagues in seven of the nine continents of the globe. This wide dispersement of troops is calling into being the Communications Office form. These widely scattered colleagues, through various movement structures, are causing a continual input of data which must be made available to the whole movement. Decisions are continually being made in all these areas that effect the whole movement. Consensus is not static but a process that is always going on across the entire globe. In order to inform these colleagues and enable them to make decisions and participate in global consensus building, a Communications Office is called into being to disseminate the vital information.

The troops of the global spirit movement must be continually contextualized in a comprehensive manner; this is the main strategic objective of the Communications Office form. Another is to create a center capable of handling all the consensed wisdom of the movement which could take the form of a global network. A further strategic objective is to create a movement common Bind, a common vision and a common direction across the globe. This would De done through the rapid dissemination of the movement's wisdom to every colleague.

Thus through these forms, the common mind of the movement is built from the wisdom of all local men. This will be a concrete demonstration of the viability of global consensus. The principal historic contradiction which calls into being the Consensus Building Complex is a movement of diverse people spread across the globe which operates out of widely different operating images. The strategic objective, therefore, of this complex is to build the common mind of the movement.

Movement Councils consist of four component groupings: Council Life Spiritizers, Symbolic Life Facilitators, Enablement System Coordinators and Global/Local Representatives. The Council Life Spiritizers are key movement leaders who preserve the symbolic life contexts and lead the council; Symbolic Life Facilitators design and implement the practice of the symbolic life for the council; the Enablement System Coordinators are those who enable the whole council by planning and assigning all practice; the Global/Local Representatives are those who participate in the council, many of whom report to the council.

COUNCIL

LIFE

SPIRITIZERS

SYMBOLIC

LIFE

FACILITATORS

The Council Life Spiritizers are a group of key movement leaders with experience and expertise whose essential role is to see that the functions of the Movement Council are shaped and sustained by the authentic depth of 20th Century men of faith. They insure that the context which is primary in every part of the activities of the council is adequate so that all of the movement's wisdom pervades every particular. It sees to it that the council celebrates its fire as the movement, and orders everything towards the articulation of the prevailing movement consensus. Thus they pay specie' attention to symbolic roles and provide for a master of ceremonies who is both guru and administrator.

The operating principles which guide the Council Life Spiritizers include: Worship is planned as a frame for all activities of the council. One person, preferably the symbolic leader of this level of the movement, is in charge for the day. An opening address holding the comprehensive context of the movement's current edge, is essential. The celebrative act which serves to summarize the whole spirit thrust of a particular council meeting is the carefully orchestrated common meal.

The Symbolic Life Facilitators take responsibility for the practice which are the hidden and necessary backup to the council's symbolic life. In consult with the Council Life Spiritizers they choose, design and set up the daily worship, and provide whatever is necessary for singing' including new songs and edge context. One of their major tasks is a comprehensive decor plan which reflects the mood needed for z particular council meeting. They coordinate practice assignments in relation to symbolic roles.

An operating principle of the Symbolic Life Facilitators is that assignments to practice are made in order to release spirit depth and pedagogical excellence necessary for the symbolic life of a Movement Council. These assignments include intentional decor, time design and rituals. Another guide line is that structured accountability is included in the timeline, both for presence at the council and for assigned tasks. A third is that the tension between global and local is maintained throughout the whole council. When these principles are in operation the spirit collegiality consolidates and allows the mission to be accomplished.

ENABLEMENT

SYSTEM

COORDINATORS

GLOBAL/LOCAL

REPRESENTATIVES

The Enablement System Coordinators are those who plan and implement practical enablements for council. They demonstrate their responsibility for overall practice of each day of the council, by being the hidden backup, responding to any needs arising and recording and reporting proceedings on behalf of the movement. It is that body who, before the council begins, is concerned with the total participation of the necessary troops by disseminating news of time and location of council and setting up such supporting structures as models for transportation, child care, food purchasing and bussing of materials to location.

Enablement System ~oordinators operate out of several important principles. To fulfill their role in council enablement, the coordinators design the coordinated systems for invisible involvement, being prepared to enable every aspect of the comprehensive agenda. They set the mood of the entire council by demonstrating the style of gracious poverty. Another operating principle is the making of any leadership assignments, holding the tension between individual training needs and council's corporate welfare. Such assignments permit the council to deal selfconsciously with movement formulation at every level.

In order to expand the context of the council, it is necessary to include persons who represent the global/local tension in addition to those who represent various movement structures. One form of this representation is a reporting structure, regular and periodic, in which the geosocial representation is impacted with the commonness of all movement forms and is enabled to participate in consensus of total movement. The strategic inclusion of visitors and new grads serves as an effective tool in the formulation thrust of the movement.

Some operating principles of the Global/Local Representatives are: the wisdom of including cross representation from all areas and every localis lies in the wider context that is built, giving focus to every man's wisdom through use of comprehensive methodology in all areas of concern. The engagement of each participant is symbolized at each council meeting through the use rituals, songs, stories and the participation of the whole body is rehearsed by keeping the time design of the meeting before the group as a symbol of their poetic common thrust.

Therefore, the primary aim of the Movement Council form is to create the widest possible context for consensus by building important tension between the global and local dimensions of the common movement memory, thus expanding and enlarging the collegially of council representatives. The comprehensive, futuric vision is rehearsed through the reporting structure, which enables the wisdom shared at the council to impact the different movement structures. Every participant's wisdom is honored in this way. Finally, the Movement Council provides a helpful orientation ground for new movement participants.

The Visioning Collegium consists of four component groupings: Movement Wisdom Conservers, Transmitters of Movement Wisdom, Movement Context Builders and Visioning Format Designers. The Movement Wisdom Conservers collect and catalogue the movement story; Transmitters of Movement Wisdom disseminate the data; Movement Context Builders create and commonize missional vision; Visioning Format Designers organize constructs and formats for the sake of the Visioning Collegium.

Movement Wisdom Conservers serve the function of collecting, cataloguing and rehearsing the movement story. They gather from movement sources the basic documents and writings which build the common mind for the Visioning Collegium. They keep a current file of global data and edge materials. This group articulates the movement story in an imaginal form> using the wisdom of the social and spirit methods.

Movement Wisdom Conservers operate out of the principles of collecting and utilizing data relevant to the spirit edge and evaluating past data in light of the new image of comprehensive task as developed by the Visioning Collegium. Through contacts with the secular world, conservers become aware of and opened to the impact of edge secular wisdom. Movement wisdom relative to global Urs is to be preserved and presented in order to hold the tension between the global and local.

Transmitters of Movement Wisdom disseminate relevant data to the movement by utilizing particular structures and networks. Morning collegiums held at Religious Houses across the globe are a prime example of this dynamic. Data is reported to all in attendance by trained individuals. In this way the building of the common memory for future consensus is catalyzed.

Transmitters of Movement Wisdom operate out of several crucial principles. By trusting wisdom and structures, the spirit edge is articulated in the context of anticipated victory. The development of local man is held in the tension of global needs. Consensed data is reported to the collegium to allow necessary changes in their models.

Movement Context Builders create and commonize missional vision by the choice and contexting of songs. The common mind which is created through study and wisdom is shared to enable consensus. Intentional ordering of the collegium design articulates the overall vision, the nurture, and business of the day.

Movement Context Builders operate out of the principle that symbolic life maintains demanded missional discipline. The comprehensive context is built through consensus methodology and through common movement wisdom. Accountability and absolution enables every man confronted with the context of total mission to see his possibility as part of the total mission.

The Visioning Format Designers organize constructs and formats from movemental wisdom for the sake of Visioning Collegium leadership. This process includes collecting, organizing and gestalting information into usable forms which are then assigned to appropriate arenas for use in the implementation of current data. Another process utilized is the evaluation of reports from courses, overseas training institutes and academies.

The Visioning Format Designers operate out of the principle that motivation for the missional task is created through comprehensive grounding in movemental concerns. Common methodologies are used in order to establish a corporate mindset out of which models assignments and timelines are created. It is necessary to develop trained leadership in order to utilize movement wisdom. Finally, the honoring of global and local movemental consensus enables the corporate task.

Therefore, the Visioning Collegium is that form which enables the mission to be one mission through continual rehearsal of the movement's comprehensive story and the use of common methods. The collegium, through its corporateness, maintains the missional thrust and allows every person to see his role in the total mission of the church, The corporate life style demonstrated by the collegium and studied by its participants is important in maintaining the thrust of the mission. Finally, the discipline demanded by the mission is created by the symbolic life practiced and taught in the collegium.

CONCLUSION

The Communication Office consists of four component groupings: Movement Wisdom Collectors, InputOutput Reporters, Data Processing Operators and General Coordinators Team. The first component grouping, Movement Wisdom Collectors, insures that there is a global data exchange system for collecting and disseminating information; InputOutput Reporters collect information and cross reference it for feedback; Data Processing Operators receive this collected information and channel it into a priority system; the General Coordinators Team is the administration staff which holds the comprehensive picture of the operation.

Movement Wisdom Collectors make data available for publication and administration and act as an overall data exchange system for research. This data is held and communicated in a form which articulates the common thrust. Movement Wisdom Collectors also provide a cataloguing service that acts as a storage rationale for data.

The principles out of which Movement Wisdom Collectors operate are several. A regional assignment rationale and reporting system is created on the basis of comprehensiveness and it is organized in common into an easily understood catalogue form. Missional priorities determine publication of collected data. A data backup bank into which regional wisdom is channeled, is established in every area. Accountability is established by providing a regular publishing pattern.

InputOutput Reporters act as a link between communications elements by providing for a continuously crossreferenced feedback system and by serving as a collecting point for diverse reports. Thus they create a signal system of meeting the needs of movemental bodies.

InputOutput Reporters act out of the following principles: They focus their imaginal movement reports through the use of creative educational techniques and by highlighting key issues. Mass media designs are used for the inputoutput dynamic of movemental information. Regular global reports are received, prioritized and sent weekly to every regional centrum across the globe.

Data Processing Operators receive and order data from ongoing facilities. In so doing, they create a supply of information which provides data that can be readily utilized. This methodology of intentional data structuring thus enables administrators and planners to pick up the task of disseminating all needed data to proper destinations as quickly as possible.

Data Processing Operators operate out of the principles that comprehensive data banks are kept by every area and region on all aspects of movemental function allowing this information to flow from the localis of the region into the area finally into the global data bank from which it is redistributed according to determined missional priorities. Comprehensive data cards are to be kept on every grad and prospect but always honor those who request their names be removed from the mailing list.

The General Coordinators Team is the representative planning staff which holds the comprehensive picture and which organizes internally in order to coordinate overall functions through uniting diverse poles into one interrelated system.

The General Coordinators Team operates out of the following principles. The style of servantleadership, crucial for sustaining the dynamic of consensus making in creating the mass communication necessary for movemental common memory, is embodied. Punctual global mailing of communications is enabled when editing and coordinating groups work out of timelines such as "church year" calendars and "global movement" calendars.

The Communications Office operates out of the following principles: Information organized into an easily understood retrieval system is a prerequisite to a communications dynamic. Utilization of the retrieval system, i.e. reporting, is catalyzed when form, rather than content, is emphasized. Data systems and bureaucracy serve movement decision making and prioritizing processes rather than predetermining them. A publications and data exchange system which holds the global vision before the movement is one of the most crucial components in the Communication Office form. Creative educational methodology, which informs and sustains common memory, transforms data reporting into a relevant and powerful dynamic.

Consensus Building operates in these three ways: Movement Councils; Visioning Collegium; Communication Office so that common research methods produce powerful global projection designs; projection designs must be built from broadbased participation to care for the earth; projection models break loose the major contradiction of the age; selfconscious spirit appropriation is possible in the midst of futures research; effective projection assignments and deployment are done from the context of the global future

C23: ACTION PLANNING COMPLEX

STRATEGY

CONFERENCES

PLANNING

PRESIDIUM

DEPLOYMENT CENTRUH

The Action Planning Complex is composed of three forms: Strategy Conferences, Planning Presidium, and Deployment Centrum. The Strategy Conferences conceive longrange strategies and priorities, Planning Presidium orchestrates thrust of the movement, and Deployment Centrum guards and patterns comprehensiveness in assignments. This complex operates in the general social arena of inclusive reordering of movement planning for projection of the missional thrust. The historical contradiction which Action Planning impacts is seen by examining its relationship to comprehensive, longrange strategies and prioritizing in the exploding acceleration of opportunity and demand for the movement. The Action Planning Complex is designed to accomplish movement planning and assignment .

The philosophical presupposition of the Strategy Conferences form is that the future is created in every moment out of a vision. The vision is concretized through particular longrange strategic planning that incorporates the wisdom of every self-conscious local man. Strategy Conferences presuppose that the movement is held in being through the strategic use of common symbols and stories and the disciplined corporate style of the grassroots troops.

The historical contradiction calling forth Strategy Conferences is the sluggish and noncomprehensive response to the demands of a broad and rapidly changing global mission. If strategy conferencing is not implemented, the movement finds that it plans out of immediacy, without a common thrust, relying solely on past static models and dealing superficially with issues.

The Strategy Conference form has the strategic objective of grasping the longrange vision based on the comprehensive ideology, and giving form to that vision. The objective is to insure the planning and ordering of priorities relative to this missional thrust, and to objectify the impact of the past, present and future. It provides the vehicle to authentically engage troops in imaginal strategic activity, releasing spirit throughout the entire movement.

Local man representational groups have the necessary wisdom to orchestrate the thrust of the global movement. A small representational body, the Planning Presidium, has the ability to detect the social trends and decide the future focus inherent in their planning and ordering on behalf of all. Disciplined, contextualized representational groups have global commonality. Models created by representational groups are reduplicable, dynamic and openended.

The contradiction in the life of the movement which is calling forth the Planning Presidium dynamic is the fact that broad declarations of the consensus building process do not get implemented automatically. The accelerating activity of the movement, including the activity of projecting future research, mandates implementing the Planning Presidium dynamic. Without this dynamic, the movement missional context is not applied to implementation, and effort is fragmented, planning parochial, resources wasted and consensus dissipated.

The Planning Presidium form brings into being, maintains and orchestrates the coordinated thrust of movement action. This coordination dynamic is to set in motion activity in arenas of the social process selected by movement research and consensus where signs need to be raised for the world to see. This dynamic is out to ground visioning in the formulation of collegial action and prompt the research dynamic to continue to be sensitive to the edge. The presidium on any level, whether global, regional or in the local parish, monitors the dissemination and ingathering of local man's wisdom and calls for accountability for the deployment of forces.

The primary philosophical presupposition in the movement relative to the Deployment Centrum is that all time is understood as assigned. Each man's freedom to create himself permits him o be assigned to any task. The Deployment Centrum assigns boors on representational, movemental consensus. At the practical level, assignments are made in the midst of the ambiguity of the tens on between spirit needs of the person assigned and the demands of the mission.

The ever increasing rate of global recruitment of spirit colleagues necessitates the dynamic of the Deployment Centrum form. This form, when implemented, deals with various manifestations of rapid movement growth as it shoots out ahead of the sustaining movement structures which are designed to create and coordinate comprehensive assignments. These manifestations are seen in underutilization of, and the minimized effective use of, strategically assigned forces.

A strategic objective of the Deployment Centrum form is to obtain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the gifts and the needs of all the people who act out of a global context. Another objective of the Deployment Centrum form is to facilitate the assignment of manpower in relation to the local and global needs of the mission. The Deployment Centrum also guards and patterns a comprehensive network for the effective assignments of movemental churchmen. Still another strategic objective of the dynamic is to provide accountability structures to sustain corporately disciplined forces in their assignments.

The Action Planning Complex is that which presupposes that every man has unique gifts of wisdom about life. He has an excess amount of unused time and great talents which, when ordered, create a corporately disciplined thrust for the spirit movement. This thrust is longrange, prioritized and ordered in the context of the global mission. Therefore, the chief historical contradiction over against which the Action Planning Complex operates is the inability of forms and structures in the present design of movement operations to appropriate, shape and orchestrate the rapid expansion of the movement. Thus the strategic objective of this complex is the coordination of movement expansion. This insures the movement's continual recreation in the coordination of the missional thrust in accordance with movement ideology.

CATALYTIC PREPLANNING COMMITTEE

SUSTAINING BACKUP

FORCES

The Strategy Conferences form consists of three component groupings: Intentional Strategy Team, Catalytic Preplanning Committee and Sustaining Backup Forces. The Intentional Strategy Team insures meaningful dealing with the key issues at hand; Catalytic Preplanning Committee enables effective functioning of the strategists in conference; Sustaining Backup Forces manage data resources on which strategy is based. It is understood that the dynamic of this form may be structured large or small, for~1 or informal, high level or low level. The following components and operating principles are deemed necessary in some form to all Strategy Conference situations.

The Intentional Strategy Team is composed of those people who conceive movement direction and formulate strategies. Held in this group is the dynamic of the symbolic leader, who holds the power of final review and decision, and who is the prototype of spiritual maturity. The group also needs the presence of appropriate personal style and intellectual and social skills. The participant observer is found to be a great help in that he serves the dynamic by recording and diagnosing conference development. To provide necessary on the spot expertise, those with special skills and experience are needed. The foregoing are the permanent roles which enable Strategy Conferences to be productive in a multiplicity of situations.

The following operational principles are guidelines for either the high level, formal conference or for a more casual type gathering. Depth reflection on which strategic thinking is built is released by intentional initial structuring of the sessions. fireset positions on contexts of participants need objectifying to reveal the situation as it is. The meeting is intentionally directed to the crucial issues at hand. A productive strategy session is founded on p~ emeeting solitary and corporate brooding. Finally, meaningful strategy development is a possibility only when the strategy team is composed of people with appropriate skills and gifts.

Preplanning is that dynamic in Strategy Conferences which does the following: catalyzes the strategy team and enables it to objectify the key issues, grasps after the spirit edge of key issues, anticipates and requests the necessary materials, pinpoints the main strategic thrusts, builds "broodover" models, anticipates the probable impact at all movement levels, screens research data and recommends that which appears to be informing, gets all area and topical wisdom pulled together thereby enabling the strategy team to formulate and implement the strategic plan.

This description of the Preplanning Committee is explicated when one considers the principles out of which such a group operates. The group works out of a comprehensive, intentional, futuric context when conversations focus on key issues. After the small group selfconsciously forges its common mind, it then approaches the larger body. The creation of images such as, ''we're out to win", enables the Preplanning Committee to act as a catalytic dynamic within the Strategy Conferences component.

The backup force is that group or dynamic which does the clerical and practical enablement for the Strategy Conferences. This group includes a materials gatherer who supplies needed raw data; a file or resource manager whose task is to build and maintain a data bank that conserves the work of the planners and strategy team; and a typist pool that types researched material. Lastly, the force will include a communications secretary whose job it is to relay information and materials between different Strategy Conferences.

The Sustaining Backup Forces are necessary for the creation of a data bank in which all edge data and researched work is preserved and kept up to date. Honoring the timeline set by the planners or strategies team enables the backup force to make needed personnel, instruments and materials available at a moment's notice. Finally, the use of imaginal formats onto which researched material is typed impacts and therefore enables Strategy Conferences in their work.

The operating principles of Strategy Conferences form are: Strategy is created out of relating to the key issues; initial brooding, individual and corporate, enable the crystalizing of relevant ideas; obedience to the given context insures dealing with "the way it is"; an "out to win" attitude unblocks planning and strategizing procedures; strategy building focuses on the imaginal element of planning and strategizing.

The Planning Presidium consists of four component groupings: Commissioned Model Builders, FormsParticipants Builders, Symbolic and Practical Leadership, and Engineers of Coordination and Maintenance. The first component grouping, Commissioned Model Builders, insures that models are built to enable Planning Presidiums to be effective; the FormsParticipants Builders enable broad, representational participation in and various levels Planning Presidiums to occur; Symbolic and Practical leadership insures that the practical work of Planning Presidiums is

accomplished, undergirded by spirit nurture from symbolic life activities; the Engineers of Coordination and Maintenance enable the presidium to function through the carrying out of enablement designs.

Commissioned Model Builders form the models that structure Planning Presidiums. The arenas these models are built in include finances, course planning and program planning. The models built by the finance committee structure transportation pools, course tuition, billpaying, bookkeeping and financial networks. Course planners build models that structure course timelines, consider teaching faculty and proposals based on penetration demands. The program planners build models for meeting formats that include symbolic life celebration, comprehensive agenda, and procedures for the practical orchestration of the movement's thrust.

The operating principles of this component state the maxims for an effective Planning Presidium. Finances are not a block to course and program planning. All proposed activities by the Planning Presidium are undergirded on the context of the global vision or what is necessary for the movement rather than an individual's "druthers". Planning is based on the strategy and the priorities determined by the Strategy Conference form. All the models set up by the Commissioned Model Builders reveal the £ic~_1 and historical picture. Finally, the wisdom and insights of a ' the presidium participants is honored through the workshopping and other corporate methods carried out by this group.

Planning Presidiums, which coordinate and plan the missional models of the movement, show up at different geosocial levels. Thus the FormParticipants Builders will plan the form and participation of the presidiums at the global, continental, regional and even metro and polls levels which will orchestrate the thrust of the movement. Participating in these meetings are a wide range of representatives including global colleagues, those assigned by their galaxy, the order, or various geosocial levels, and all those who are interested.

FormParticipants Builders hold the interrelatedness and diversity between the geosocial levels through wide representational participation in order to hold comprehensiveness of the mission in unified thrust. The Presidiums insure that all the wisdom of all colleagues will forge the future of the movement. This thrust of the movement is decided in the context of responsibility for the world. Meeting regularly holds the tension between the constant influx of new data and the orchestrations of the movement. Intentionality relative to the location of and the participation in the Planning Presidium is crucial to deciding and maintaining the common direction of the movement

The purpose of meeting bodies is the consideration and the action upon the whole agenda. Trained leadership guides consensus building and a comprehensive agenda. Thus Planning Presidiums distinguish two kinds of leadership that can be the responsibilities of one or of many: Symbolic and Practical Leadership. The symbolic leader provides the meeting members with a focus on the common memory and the practical leader has a command of meeting procedures that order and direct the movement of the meeting.

Symbolic and Practical Leadership of the Planning Presidium operates out of the following principles: The research of the key issues of the agenda insure the comprehensive consideration of the issues; spirit nurture is the source and power of the vision which enables clear decisionmaking for the Planning Presidium; decisions are made by the consensus of the Planning Presidium and they orchestrate one mission; symbols clarify the vision in order to decide the thrust of the movement.

In order for the Planning Presidium to accomplish its task of orchestrating the thrust of the movement, there are groups specially assigned to do all of the enablement designs, thus the Engineers of Coordination and Maintenance. Some of the necessary, practical areas they work in are cooking, cleaning, room setup and decor, and making and sending invitations.

In holding a Planning Presidium, an operating model guarantees the effective functioning of the form. All enabling tasks for the Planning Presidium are regarded as missional. Setting the priorities permits the Engineers of Coordination and Maintenance to know which task will consume the most time and how many troops are necessary for the task. Whenever team dynamics are used at Planning Presidiums, accountabilityabsolution rituals insure the completion of these tasks.

In conclusion, the consensus of wisdom of a widerange of participants, the holding of global vision, the intentional leadership and missional style of Planning Presidium orchestrates the thrust of the movement.

CONCLUSION

The Deployment Centrum form consists of five component groupings: Rationale Builders, Data Gathering Groups, Personnel Assignment Committee, Review and Approval Forces, and Coordinating and Enabling Forces. The first component grouping, Rationale Builders, uses movemental strategies to determine necessary deployment; Data Gathering Groups insure that all needed data is acquired; Personnel Assignment Committee makes tentative assignments; Review and Approval Forces review and approve assignments; Coordinating and Enabling Forces assure that transportation and materials are supplied while keeping comprehensive records. Deployment Centrums concerns itself with deploying personnel from one location to another. Presently this happens in the symbolic order at continental and area levels and within the extended order at the regional level as well.

The Rationale Builders use movement master strategies and priorities to determine when persons are deployed and to what locations. Within various geosocial areas such as the global, continent or area. This function goes on in such a way that the needs of the particular area are not. An important part of this component is the consulting elder whose wisdom and insights are invaluab1e.

Rationale Builders operate out of several principles. These are: Personnel rotates relative to assignment. All personnel are strategically assigned according to current movement priorities. Rationales allow a way to consider new data. Many different people are involved in the assignment making process. A priority consensus is used in building the rationale.

Data Gathering Groups insure that all needed information relative to deployable personnel is obtained. Information gatherers which handle special or particular kinds of personnel information, such as deployment locations, communications offices, deployment finance offices and administrative offices, send all data to enablement groups for filing. This is done immediately upon receipt of needed information, thus creating a dynamic which allows the movement to deploy its troops effectively.

Data Gathering Groups operate out of five major operating principles. Comprehensive data collection methodology is utilized daily, bringing into being an effective longterm operation. The creation and implementation of a data screen enables the gathering and recognition of data by illuminating extraneous items of information. Thus, only data which is absolutely necessary is gathered. The data gathering dynamic is a continuous process. All deployment locations are, without fail, contacted regularly, thus sustaining the movement's awareness of the human resources at hand.

The Personnel Assignment Committee of Deployment Centrum is that body which, by the means of a rationale, combines names and plans in tentative form.

A basic value held in Personnel Assignment is that troops assigned are strategically placed in accordance with the present priorities in relation to future needs. Thus a religious or secular hierarchical relationship would also be of importance in making assignments. The assignment committee also acquires a detached stance when commissioning troops. They consider the individual's own spirit journey and previous experiences. Personnel Assignment Committees also context all assignments.

Review and approval of deployment assignments is a necessary function. This takes two basic forms. In the first, any person within physical proximity of the process reviews the assignments, thus consensing on the assignments. In the other form, a symbolic group or individual reviews and gives final approval to the assignments.

The operating principles necessary to this component group are as follows: Involve as many different people as possible in making assignments. A second look at assignments is beneficial. Audacious insights and intuitions are encouraged. Assignment finality is symbolized. The assignment committee is held accountable to holding all the necessary values.

Coordinating and Enabling Forces assure that the personnel assignment groups be strategic, flexible and honor the individual. Coordination and Enabling Forces maintaining files on personnel, locations and all collected data, which are readily accessible. They also provide the necessary materials and funds. Provision of transportation by the Coordinating and Enabling Forces assures that assignments are carried out.

The operating principles of the forces sees that the budget obeys, knowing that their job does not finally depend on their economic stature. They hold the value of effectiveness over efficiency. Data is pharisaicly ordered to assure minimum research time. Forming the data to an organized plan also expedites research. Transportation is the passport for carrying out assignments and making certain people assigned arrive where they are needed when needed.

The Deployment Centrum form is based upon five major operating principles. The mission is accomplished by the use of rationales for strategic assignment of forces. The collection of comprehensive data on deployable troops is a continuous process. Individual gifts in relation to religious and secular hierarchies (this world hierarchies) are considered in the assigning process for the purpose of utilizing troops effectively. Adequate personnel is involved in the assignmentmaking process in order to implement the strategic troop placement rationale. Each of these four overarching principles for Deployment Centrum are founded on the philosophy that a covenanted assignment dynamic provides the only possibility for bringing about global change in the 20th century.

The Action Planning Complex operates out of principles emerging from those of its separate forms. A master rationale or vision illumines the way of all such planning. Expeditious orientation to the key issues insures meaningful action. Action Planning occurs to the extent that a creative and diverse gift and skill are engages in one mission. Thorough contextualization of all relevant data provides the initial frame for the work. Finally, the positive stance toward the plan as the winning one is the spirit undergirding the process.

PROBLEM

SOLVING

UNITS

The Futures Research Complex is composed of three forms: Research Assembly, Interchange Centrum, and Problem Solving Units. The Research Assembly shapes wisdom of local man into common context; Interchange Centrum enables broad participation in effective research; Problem Solving Units focus corporate wisdom on particular contradictions. This complex operates in the general social arena of grassroots wisdom. The historical contradiction in the Futures Research Complex is seen by examining its relationship to comprehensive and efficient wisdom gathering. This complex is designed to accomplish the concretization of future vision

The basic rationale underlying the Research Assembly is the philosophy that grassroots man has the necessary wisdom to accomplish comprehensive intuitive research. The assembly is held as the prime example of how a disciplined corporate body shapes the future of the movement.

The historical contradiction is that grassroots man is without a particular method for rendering up his wisdom to the common endeavor of creating the future and he is unaware he possesses exactly the wisdom needed to engage in comprehensive social research.

The strategic objectives of the Research Assembly form are: the creation and research of movemental models, (e.g. "The Dynamics of the Social Process"); contexting of the consensed movemental vision, (e.g. "All the Earth Belongs to all the People"); nurture and training of movemental forces by actual application of methodologies as they are being created. This complex actualizes the experimentation by the movement of edge research on behalf of all men.

The guiding presupposition of the Interchange Centrum is that every manta wisdom con6+itutes the cognitive and decisional processes which order sociality. In addition, every man engaged in interchange research informs and reforms his global environment. The spirit movement gathers common wisdom to forge its corporate methodologies which provide the vehicle for this presupposition to be discerned in history.

Today, as the social process is conscious of multiple alternatives for the future, decisions and data confront men with dizzying speed. Yet getting the wisdom of local man into the arena of global decision making is hindered by lack of wisdom interchange structures. Needs and resources go unmatched. Rapid interchange of information is hindered by sluggish wisdom gathering methods. Finally, a way to handle creatively this overwhelming accumulation of data is yet to be offered to the interchange process.

The Interchange Centrum is a dynamic structure which sets out to achieve three main strategic objectives. The first is to enable the effective operation of movement signal projects, such as the Local Church Project. It accumulates and disseminates the necessary research data to support movement expansion according to specific project timelines. Finally it establishes and commonizes movement priorities to maintain a single missional direction.

The basic presuppositions underlying the Problem Solving Units are four: first, that local man has all the wisdom necessary to solve all the problems presented to him in life; second, that all problems are related to the paramount historical contradiction of our times; third, that the Problem Solving Units form is the key to release a selfconscious relationship of local man to his given situation; finally, the Problem Solving Units dynamic gathers the wisdom of local marl to be regestalted into sociologically constructive power (methods].

Crucial problems that demand rapid solutions confront men constantly in the complex dynamics of today's society. Often problems which deserve the focus of much wisdom and relevant data are "solved" by just a few experts. Frequently, community forums, lacking specific problemsolving methods, exclude needed relevant wisdom, leaving available human resources untapped. Thus, problems of global implications are dealt with only in respect to the immediate and the local. Present problemsolving methods do not adapt well to reaching comprehensive clarity on the complex problems we must deal with in making decisions for the future.

The Problem Solving Units represent a practical way for the church to take realistic responsibility for the world by enabling local man to affirm his own insight and contribute his wisdom in the form of consensus models to the creative process of building civilization. The methodology of honoring each man's wisdom serves as a genuine grassroots polity structure and concretizes missional corporateness. The Problem Solving Units structure allows refined insights to be focused on key contradictions, resulting in specific options for effective action in a given social arena.

The Futures Research Complex is that arena in which local man will create the future, through corporate methods and comprehensive structures which focus on common global wisdom. Thus, the gathered wisdom of all the peoples of the globe becomes the practical vision of humanness, projecting a resurgence of motivity on behalf of suffering mankind. Therefore, the principle historical contradiction over against which the Futures Research Complex operates is that of reduced images and methods of communication and research. The strategic objective of the Futures Research Complex is to enable the movement to forge a practical vision of the renewal of the globe. Secondarily, it creates the methods and coordination system to implement the practical vision. Thus, through the Futures Research Complex the movement articulates, disseminates, and embodies its three master strategies of research, training and demonstration.

CONGREGATIONS

The Research Assembly consists of six component groupings: Preplanning and Design Groups, Comprehensive Recruitment Forces, Research Format Planners, Practical Support Forces, Symbolic Life Planners and Assembly Congregations. The first component grouping, Preplanning and Design Groups, provides the leadership design groups and preplans the basic operations of the total assembly prior to the actual assembly. The Comprehensive Recruitment Forces builds the globallocal models that gather the assembly participants and implement imaginal recruitment methods to receive inclusive and comprehensive resource persons within the research process. The third component grouping, Research Format Planners, provides the overarching research formats for the entire assembly and functions as the control element, the contexting group of priors, and the monitoring evaluation forces ongoing in the assembly. The fourth component grouping, the Practical Support Forces, is the backup system without which the daily necessities of the life of the assembly participants override the effective use of time and talent in the assembly function. The Symbolic Planners, the fifth component group, integrates the emerging spirit life of the assembly into the researching fabric, thereby functioning as the sustaining body. Sixth, and lastly, the Assembly Congregations, functions as the overarching structure unit ordering the total relations within the social life of the assembly.

In order to have the necessary planning for a Research Assembly a group needs to be set aside to do the planning. This group decides the model, the content, and the methods to be used, in order to have both shortterm and longterm planning out ahead of the assembly.

Preplanning deals with clarifying in the context of held ideologies, the edge issues upon which the research must focus. Previous wisdom which ;s relevant is held up for consideration in determining the key launching pad for the new research. The comprehensive preplanning of designs and charts for participants enables maximum motivation. Space and time designs need careful attention to create the setting for most effective corporate work. A comprehensive leadership model is worked out well in advance to assure adequate staff.

Recruitment Forces create the quotamaking instruments; the qualityproducing models; the calling constructs and the material illustrations these forces build and implement the recruitment models design the publicity materials; editorialize the recruitment pitches and construct, the accountability mechanisms. The accountability mechanisms operate as check points and countdown devices for the entire assembly.

The operating principles of Recruitment Forces are grounded in affecting research commonality through comprehensive selection of diverse levels of participants. The forces enlist global recruitment coordinated through local movementengaged centers. Awareness of the assembly's unique productive design is increased and intensified by creating and strategically placing imaginally illustrated publicity materials With assigned quotas and recruitment areas focused in accountability structures, Research Assemblies accomplish predicted numbers. Inclusive, though flexible timelines, fulfill anticipated goals within any arena of Research Assemblies.

Research Format Planners is an inclusive component within Research Assemblies which operates in three areas. The first area of responsibility include building the assembly models, refining them and adapting them to specific needs of the ongoing assembly. Their second responsibility is to context priors enabling them to give operational clarity to research designs, time designs, and procedural orders of the day.. Another responsibility is the ordering of researched data by gathering, reviewing and making an evaluation for the decisionmaking process of the Futures Research complex.

Timelines are tentative guidelines set by Research Format Planners for the functioning of the assembly. Periodic evaluation of material produced provides the context of the critical turn for the next session. This continual evaluation and projection is facilitated through feed-back from daily priors' meetings. Daily use of comprehensive guidelines context diverse levels of participants wisdom. Signs of progress release participants to creatively enter the next phase of work

Practical Support Forces provide necessary enablement backup for research assemblies. Included are such areas as security, print shop, building, maintenance as well as those forces needed to care for daily 1ife in the body of any people such as kitchen crew and laundry. The crucial function of the Practical Support Forces is that of being the behind the scenes enablement that allows the researching body to function without losing time caring for necessities.

In operating a research assembly, complete residential facilities are provided to accommodate a common family life style.

Statistical prediction is done to prove adequate internal ordering of participants and building service provisions. Schedules are strategically worked out for the enablement staff to allow for maximum research participation. A practics office handles production and coordination of printed material, finances, transportation and supplies. Development structures are created to handle any special needs or crisis situations during the program.

The Symbolic Life Planners, the fifth component grouping, insures the symbolic activities in every dimension of the assembly construct. Their responsibility includes planning that symbolic activity which sustains the body in its common mission. Their priorship extends into the arena of creating the spirit lecturing, instituting the singing modes, providing the singing leadership, and preparing the Spirit Life conversation constructs. Another production this component creates and displays is the planning of decor designs for celebration events. The corporate worship activity and solitary constructs are also planned through this group to engage the whole body to stand before the authenticity of the life they have decided is theirs.

The operating principles which realize the activity of Symbolic Life P1anners includes the following: Dally worship undergirds research activity with iron core symbolic rehearsal. The intentional use of decor and music sustains the spirit life of any creative movement. Ritualized opening and closing or assembly activities symbolize the realities the body decides to stand before. Celebrations periodically held within the assembly arena punctuate and radicalize the intentionality of the research; the spirit life journey of local man is sustained futurically when he participates in solitary and daily office.

Assembly Congregations form the basic structure of the Research Assembly. r larger body is broken into smaller groups so

that effective nurture can take place. Accountability and assignments in smaller groupings allow awareness of the individual spirit journey.

The Assembly Congregation of the Research Assembly operates out of a common life method which provides a care structure that is most effective in small defined groups. The accountability - absolution care dynamic which operates in even the smallest of groups supports the research work by holding people to their life decisions to work corporately. Corporate work creates community life. The priorship dynamic, which also operates at every level of participation, is designed to be a care structure to continually context the community life and work by enabling all participants in corporate visioning.

The Research Assembly form is a symbol of the future thrust of the movement. The assembly embodies a new style of dealing with the spirit contradictions of the times. In the context of risking untried methodologies it researches, co-ordinates, anticipates, and monitors in working with these contradictions. It builds the corporate models that deal with the major movement contradictions using forces drawn from all cultures and phases of life.

The Interchange Centrum consists of the following component groupings: Global Research Net, Research Content Builders, Research Co-ordination Center, Editing and Review Board, and Data Bank. The first component groupings, Globa1 Research Net, insures that comprehensive crucial research is done; Research Content Builders provide the formats for the Global Research Net; the Research Co-ordination Center utilizes centralized information about previous assignments in making research assignments; the Editing and Review Board synthesizes and records research data; the Data Bank maintains and disseminates research materials. The Interchange Centrum guards comprehensive participation in research through inclusive research structures, formats, assignments, synthesis and dissemination.

The Global Research Net consists of group of people, examples of which are Religious Houses and Galaxies, that participate in the

actual research process. Their research is varied and includes such areas as the Local Church Experiment and the social processes of all cultures. Research is done in arenas assigned by the Research Coordination Center and in accordance with formats created by the Research Content Builders.

The Global Research Net operates out of the following principles. Consultant teams experienced in a particular arena who are able to concretely ground wisdom in the research arena make regular visits. When varied research techniques are experimented

with, edge research methods are discovered. Research is to be completed in assigned arenas within the set time limit. The implementation of intentionally structured formats which hold the researching body to designated arenas enable depth research. Finally, researching delimited arenas is catalytic to the research process.

The Research Content Builders create the methods and the formats through which the research is done. All formats are created out of a common model for research and they provide a common methods model.

The operating principles of Research Content Builders are: When building formats for research, experiment with new methods for they sometimes prove to be more efficient. Stand accountable to past wisdom, for it is always a crucial part of creating new formats. Formats maintain a common context as well as a common methods model thereby contain all research within its assigned arena. Finally, a common research mode1 enables all returned data to be presented in the same form.

The Research Co-ordination Center is the group which assigns the research they see as crucial to the movement's wisdom. These assignments are made in the context of the wisdom of previous assignments and are only finalized when validated by a polity board. The wisdom of the movement is coordinated by central locations on each continent.

To insure comprehensiveness in research, broad vocational participation of local man is necessary. Another operating principle that deals with inclusive participation is that crosscultural participation is recruited for research. Data is made readily available through central coordination in each continent. The last two operating principles deal with values for assignment making: assignments are made according to a group's or person's abilities and journey, and with an eye toward maintaining continuity in research groups.

The job of the Editing and Review Board is to synthesize the crucial data from research into aggregates. The board checks the aggregates for accuracy and completeness according to the given format. The research results are recorded comprehensively using graphic, illustrative phrases which most enable common understanding. The board provides a subject guide to the results for use in the Data Bank.

Data which is synthesized into aggregates and which is graphically illustrated enhances common understanding. Checking accuracy and completeness of research data according to given formats produces comprehensive data. Comprehensively recorded research expedites efficient filing and creates a subject guide for data

The function of the Data Bank is to file all materials and maintain a system of ordering to enable rapid and thorough interchange of materials. The Data Bank creates a comprehensive distribution and recall system and distributes lists of recently collected data.

The following considerations point to operating principles relative to Data Bank. Data aggregates are available for distribution upon demand. A specific efficient system of ordering materials is required. The creation of a speedy and thorough interchange system is necessary. Finally, a comprehensive distribution and recall system and compilations of recently collected data keep comprehensiveness current.

The Interchange Centrum guards and enables comprehensive participation in research and coordinates and disseminates research data for the movement.

WORKING

UNITS

The Problem Solving Units consist of four component groupings: Preplanning Staff, Method and Spirit Leadership, Data Coordination Staff and Working Units. The first component grouping, Preplanning Staff, insures that the design of the Problem Solving Units session is thought through thoroughly in advance; the second grouping, Method and Spirit Leadership, guides the flow of the session's working life; the third grouping, Data Coordination Staff, insures that the session's work product is gotten under control and the last grouping, Working Units, structures division of the work and interchanges work product. Overall, the Problem Solving Units is a movement form which searches out the specific contradiction in the midst of a research arena of activity where difficulty has been experienced or anticipated. It offers an intentional way to overcome a critical roadblock.

The Preplanning Staff component consists of the advance planning staff which plans the Problem Solving Units session relative to the chosen contradiction. The screening staff sifts data and prior research. The trial run checkers think through and experiment with the thrusts and the alternatives which the session might take. The participant selection committee determines who needs to attend the session relative to the nature of the chosen contradiction.

The direction of the Preplanning Staff is focused by five critical operating Principles. First, a comprehensive concentrated thrust on a single major contradiction can break open that contradiction. A short sessions of one or a few sessions can complete the work. All Contingencies can be anticipated by rigorously preplanning, with the use of trialrun as simulations of the session. Progress in breaking open the contradiction is dependent upon evaluating and bud' cling upon previous related work, and on working on edge materially. Participants selected strategically from a broad spectrum of disciplines and experience levels provide the expertise that is needed to get full leverage on the contradiction.

The Methods and Spirit Leadership component consists of the leadership role, acting as the articulators of consensus and keepers of the timeline. In addition, context staters set out the necessary comprehensive context to delineate the area of search. They also set the mood . Keepers of the methods hold the values of familiar methods and adapt new methods. They also keep the Problem Solving Units goal in sight. The edge researchers locate edge data, bring in movement wisdom and supply any needed secular writing.

Five operating principles inform the Methods and Spirit Leadership. While it is conventional movement wisdom, it is helpful to recall the importance of setting a comprehensive context. The leadership needs to be briefed in advance by the preplanning staff. To get out everyone's wisdom, a variety of specific movement methods should be used. In tuning the spirit dimension of the sessions so as to care for the individual and corporate spirit journey, use a variety of humor, surprise, decor shifts, discontinuity and hard work. Finally, the polity of the Methods and Spirit Leadership is consensus methodology.

The Data Coordination Staff component consists of the data recorder who keeps all information. They order needed materials, file written work and hold the full wisdom of the group. The research keeper pulls together material, provides background for Futures Research and maintains an ordering system. Editing boards push for clear articulation of wisdom while refining and polishing the group writing.

Five key operating principles guide the Data Coordination Staff. The written work of the Problem Solving Units is rapidly pulled together as it is produced and immediately returned to the group. The wisdom and data of the group are reordered and maintained in a rational retrieval system. Beyond this, it is necessary to maintain the historical data that reveals the progression of the research to the participants. Data must be held for future research. Attention to the use of formats is needed to enable access to the content of the work.

The Working Units component consists of the organization of the participantresearchers of the Problem Solving Units into small groups that can be expanded in size or grouped together in various ways in order to handle the research task.

Operating principles inform the use of Working Units in these ways. First, working units enable the participants to get their wisdom out, thereby caring for them; this is done in both large and small group settings. The plenary dynamic builds a common mind as reports from the units are received. The plenary also permits the small units to account to the whole body and for absolution to be pronounced. Constant contextual lectures to the units keep the context focused and alive. Moreover, the trading of work cuts against parochialism. Finally, each unit reflects a crosssection of the session.

The Problem Solving Units form injects specific grassroots wisdom into the Futures Research Complex as it addresses a specific contradiction in a short burst of effort. It uses a methodology which, although flexible in the sense that a choice can be made from a wide variety of specific tools and methods, proceeds from the basic premise that to unblock a difficult situation, a rigorous pursuit of that situation's fundamental contradiction will release men to see what is needed for further action.

The preceding paragraphs within the Futures Research Complex show that each form's components and operating principles are in relation to themselves, and in relation to the forms themselves. They also shows therefore, that the Futures Research Complex is the part of the Global Projection Design that collects, stores and disseminates the essence of the movement's wisdom and data from research. It also experiments with what research is and actually formulates the edge of the movement in the midst of this enablement and experimentation.

CONCLUSION

The Global Projection Design serves the movement by Consensus Building, Action Planning and doing Futures Research. It lines out the work to be done, creates the vision of the future and gets it stated in practical terms. In doing this, it forges the future vision of the movement, plans the necessary action relative to advanced research and to the current consensus as it builds a corporate mind throughout the movement.
