I'm reading this fabulous parrot story and as I laugh big belly laughs at
the wonderful antic prose, I'm saying to myself:  I never met Dick Kroeger,
but I've read some e-mails from him, and I never knew that John's brother
should be a full-time writer.
With gratitude to Mark Morford for writing it and apologies for overlooking
the by-line and many thanks to Dick for sharing it the very same day it hit
newsprint.
