People on the list might be interested to know that our (Australian) 
national broadcaster (ABC) showed the entire film nationwide in mid June as 
it's "Compass" religion program.  That gave it a lot more coverage than the 
few showings that otherwise had only been in art houses.  It's such an 
impressive job, and made us aware of how much he and the events in the 
German church informed us as we were growing up.  Particularly in the 
sixties.  Isn't it shocking how much the current administration keeps 
acting like the regime Bonhoeffer stood up against.  I believe that the 
strong resistance in society and the church to the current attempts at 
authoritarian control are also informed by the witness that Bonhoeffer and 
others gave back then.  Over here Ray Richmond has been particularly active 
organising the challenges to the Iraq war and atomic testing.
