[Oe List ...] Welcome Bob and Ready to Go

Colleagues,
I am willing to be list owner or backup whichever works out best for you
folks.
The original intent of the OE list had to do with a conversation between the
generations who had direct experience of living in the Order Ecumenical.
Slowly it has evolved into general conversations around the Order Ecumenical
experience. However, for some folks there seems to be no difference between
the purpose of the ICA Dialogue and Order Ecumenical lists. I do not know
what to recommend at the moment. I am willing to take a wait and see
attitude and see what develops. Thanks for reading this.
Peace,
Harry

Welcome Bob!
OK, I have the membership list from David. We are nearly ready, just
a few issues.
1. Timing. David, you you want to announce that the OE list is about
to migrate? If you can't, I will, but it would be better if you
could.
2. Who should the owners be? Having the list password is almost as
good as being list owner, because you can edit the list
configuration, including who the "owner" is. Being listed officially
as owner makes your email appear on the user pages, and you will also
receive copies of the administrative requests such as subscription
requests.
Bob, Abe wants you as a dialogue owner. Currently it is Myself, Bob,
and Abe.
David, do you want to continue as a list owner? Harry has agreed to
help in a backup role. Harry, shall we list you as an owner, or just
lurk as one who knows the password?
I have experience maintaining mailman lists and I honestly don't
think it's much work. But it is important to have backups. For
example, I'll be gone the last two weeks of June. Also, I really like
having a team to discuss list issues with, though there may not be
much to discuss once things settle down.
Hey! I got a $12.00 contribution from Richard and Gail West! My plan
is to wait a while and make sure our host is OK, then pay for more
years with contributions rather than pay myself back. Initially we
have the lists for one year and the domain name for two.
Tim
