[Oe List ...] Celebrating Mark Poole's Life

Jo Nelson's comments about being reunited with their son Aaron in El 
Bayad triggered our deepest memories of Mark Poole. Rodney and I 
visited El Bayad in 1979 with the Panchayat (Rob Duffy and Joyce 
Ollison) while the Pooles were there. I knew before we arrived that 
Mark and Jean were both deeply caring people, but we were treated as 
though our visit was one of the best things that ever happened. We had 
a small family crisis back home and Mark took us into Cairo to Standard 
Oil so we could call Chicago. We also could see in their relationship 
with both villagers and ICA staff that these were people God had sent 
for this special mission. The world will deeply miss Mark's care and 
love on this planet.
