The Lake Tahoe staging of "This Moment In Time" retreat is set for 9:00 am,
Wednesday, August 10 to 3:00 pm August 12, 2005.

Transitions are a matter of time. The stages and cycles of life, the changes
in organizations, the surprise acts of Creation, the interior processing
that occurs within us all make for transitions. Transitions are a fact of
life and an ongoing part of life sometimes bringing joy, and sometimes
bewilderment. They take time and make time. They invite us to understand
them and make meaning out of them. They raise questions to us and require of
us new perspective and relationship. Reflective and metaphoric tools are
essential elements of Interacting with transitions and living abundantly,
joyfully, and intentionally. Our reflective life and centering are ways we
appropriate the transparency that allows our experience of awe to illuminate
our being and shine through us. When I first sent this out a few weeks ago
the witness by David Dunn on the limits of our own "dead reckoning"
appeared. I decided to attach it. If you can, take a moment in time to read
it and treat yourself. If the time is right think about joining us next week
in the Tahoe Woods to extend that moment in time.

Brian Stanfield says in his Courage to Lead; Transform self, Transform
Society , "Whatever meaning can be found in life is located in the midst of
everyday happenings and on-going-ness at home, on the job, in this world. We
experience transparency when meaning shines through the mundane happenings
of life." The retreat, "This Moment In Time," draws on the Stanfield's work
in chapters 4, 5, and 6 and the early research in the metaphoric terrains of
the Other world in the midst of this world to create reflective exercises.
These exercises help get a hold on the everyday, seemingly insignificant
transitions as well as the dramatic life changing ones to provide a means of
receiving and appreciating all as creation's gift. We will share as we are
inclined our own life experiences and journal some of them through to deeper
insight. We will zero in on our current life question and the gifts of our
current transitions and explore the transformations you are being invited
into at this moment in time.

So if the time is right click onto this site to go to the web site flyer and
