Thanks to those who reported on Jean Watts and family and Carol Fleischman. I'd add my concern for them and other colleagues. I remember well the Ulangcas only trip to New Orleans, for a meeting of the predecessor of the International Association of Facilitators. We were hosted graciously by the Watts family, and visited with Carol in her home. The "fais do do" celebration led by Jean sparkled, the food was heavenly, the visit to Preservation Hall terrific. Just with that one visit I can glimpse Pat Tueke's pain at the onslaught to such a beautiful vibrant city. Prayers for all - including the poor and all those working to save lives and look at needed structural changes.

Hello colleagues,
I spoke with Carol Fleischman this morning. She decided to leave her
French Quarter home in New Orleans before the storm hit and is now
waiting it out in Montgomery, Alabama until officials give word that
residents can return. She learned that one of the levees broke and
flooded a neighborhood adjoining hers, and the fate of her street and
first-floor condo is uncertain at the moment. She appreciated knowing of
the concern expressed by those on the OE list.
Peace,
Marilyn
