If any of you Peace Heads are interested in sponsoring an event, the next
Earthdance is September 16th, 2006
For 2006, Earthdance will align with the World Council of Elders and Native
Voices to honor the wisdom of Native People around the world. Through the
World Council of Elders, tribes in over 50 countries worldwide will be
invited to join the global Earthdance celebration by holding peace
ceremonies on September 16th, during the synchronized global Prayer for
Peace. 

Joining the event in Northern California will be 14 elders representing
tribes from many first nations, including the Kogi Tribe from Columbia, The
Hopi and the Aboriginal peoples of Australia. These traditional keepers of
ancient knowledge will carry a message of peace on behalf of the indigenous
people of our planet.

All Earthdance promoters will be encouraged to support indigenous causes.
