Dear Friends and Family,
     We are writing to inform you of the death of Ruthe Yost.  Ruthe died at
approximately 1:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2005.  She died while
sleeping in her apartment with George at her side.  After being diagnosed
with a brain tumor in October, 2004 and being given anywhere from one to
three months to live, she defied all the doctor's predictions and enjoyed 14
more months of life.
     The family will hold a memorial celebration of Ruthe's life sometime
after the holidays.  A decision on a date and time will be made in the near
future and you will be notified concerning the details.  The celebration
will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Denver.  The family
requests that you not send any flowers at this time.  Cards can be sent to
George at the address listed below.  We will let you know of any plans for
donations which can be made to honor Ruthe's life.
     If you would like to visit George, it would be best if you called ahead
to arrange a good time to see him.  He has an important doctor's appointment
tomorrow (Tuesday, December 20th) to determine what action needs to be taken
to deal with wounds on his foot that won't heal and a possible infection
from these wounds.  We will also keep you informed regarding his health
situation.
      Thank you very much for your continued positive thoughts, expressions
of caring and your prayers.  The family has gained much strength from all of
you and could not have sustained the care given to Ruthe and George without
your support.
