[Oe List ...] Fwd: Memorial Celebration for Ruthe Yost

I am forwarding a message from George and Ruthe Yost's family.  Ruthe died on 
December 19th after a year's illness.  For those of you who may not have 
known, she was diagnosed over a year ago with a brain tumor and was not expected 
to live for more than 2 - 3 months.  She was remarkably resilient and lived 
with a reasonable quality of life for over a year.  It was always a pleasure to 
visit.

Her family has taken unbelievably good care of them.  Daughter Deborah has 
been there every day and David has been there at night.  Other family members 
have come in for weekend care and visits.  After visiting a week ago Tuesday and 
learning that the doctor said that Ruthe would probably not live more than 2 
- 3 days, I called on Thursday to find that David said they were both in the 
living room in their motorized chairs doing their daily readings.  

Ruthe has been a dear friend and an inspiring colleague for 35 years.  She 
will leave a big hole in my life and in that of Denver colleagues.  Her 
completed life was a great journey.
