Dear Nan and Bill,
   I have followed your news from Colquitt these many years with awe, 
fascination, and gratitude for the joyful hard work you and your colleagues have 
done building an incredible new vision of community among such creative, giving 
Georgia folks.  I am so glad that Richard and I were able to be at the Kennedy 
Center (the KENNEDY CENTER!!) when Swamp Gravy was on the program (on the 
KENNEDY CENTER PROGRAM!!!) a few years ago.  And today, with an occasional lump 
in my throat and just as much awe, fascination, and gratitude for both of you, I 
read the issue of Renditions you just sent to explain why you moved to 
Manchester, PA.  Gratitude too that I got to know you and work with you in 
Uptown in the mid-70s where you also left another big (probably anonymous)  
imprint (UPTOWN TOO??!!) more recently--and in the past.  Thank you, dear ones, 
for all you have done on behalf of all hometowns and neighborhoods everywhere.  
May the New Year be filled with blessing for you and yours.  Love you.
