Thanks, Margaret, for raising this question. I have appreciated all the
responses, but want to add my affirmation to Evelyn's helpful suggestions for
leaving the feelings of guilt that are actually lodged in our cellular memory. My
own experiences with healing bear witness to her wisdom. Sharry Lachman has
been a helpful resource for me, as well as a number of teachers with whom I've
studied energy healing.

I'm studying and leading a study of Connie Kaplan's book, THE INVISIBLE
GARMENT, Thirty Spiritual Principles that Weave the Fabric of Human Life. (ISBN
1-58872-089-6) Connie and I graduated from Univ. of Creation Spirituality
together. One of the principles that she talks about is Memory, and I hope the
following quote is apropos to this discussion:

p. 46: "Memory is a force that is more powerful than matter. Matter will
hold more truly to Memory than to Purity. For example, if you cut yourself
badly, you have a scar on your body. The rest of your life, as the body
regenerates its cells, it will recreate the scar tissue. It will not bypass Memory and
go back to the Purity of your original form."

p.47 "Full remembrance of the entire evolutionary process is in human cells.
Between conception and taking the first breath, every human travels from
first cell all the way through to human being. ... To remember oneself fully, one
has to come to right relationship with free will. Right relationship with
free will involves surrender to God's will. One has to align personal authority
with an impersonal, omniscient authority. At that point, one realizes that
what he or she thought was unique about him- or herself was actually veiling
and shielding a much larger truth. When one lifts the veils and shields and
totally transforms the tendency to make separatist decisions, he or she becomes
an aspect of God that has access to Memory. Then one discovers the great irony
of the universe: that the physical form holds the exact same information as
the whole cosmos. Within the DNA, all the information is present."

She points out that having full access to to this kind of memory would
destroy the body. But perhaps our low feelings sometimes are a result of
subconscious memory beyond our personal lives. Overwhelming

If you think astrology, angelic beings and reincarnation are total nonsense,
this book wouldn't appeal to you. But if you are fascinated with how quantum
physics seems to bear out some of these old systems, you might get something
out of it.

Blessings on this community. We received our copies of the JWM book
yesterday. What a treat!

Love,
Jann McGuire
