It must be contagious!  I (Jim Jewell) had triple bypass surgery last
April.  With the loving care of Dorothea, I came through just fine.

Like the others, the whole thing was a complete surprise.  The only
symptom I had was shortness of breath and a VERY fast pulse (152).  I
have never had a chest pain (aside from surgical).  I was admitted on a
Friday, had an angiogram and was told that I was not leaving the
hospital until after surgery. The surgery was early Monday morning.
After battling low blood pressure for a time (I had high pressure before
surgery), stopping almost all my post-surgical medication left me
feeling fine.

A quick note to the old team:

Charles Hahn goes in for bypass surgery Monday morning
(Jan. 9th) at nine o'clock. He has major blockage on
both sides of his heart, but no major damage to the
heart yet. But for safety's sake he has to stay in the
hospital all weekend following an angiogram Friday 
morning. We appreciate your support.
